Heritage 20% ??? Txp has 100% working interest

Some info regarding the seismic discussions.
The data for the Ortoire Block was received from the Bid Round data from the Ministry of Energy. Not from Shell. Shell happens to have drilled those wells in a previous generation.

Coora is a block leased from Heritage. Whatever well data Txp have was provided by Heritage. Txp has negotiated to receive the 3D seismic that covers the block.

…and Paul also said Casca would go online with about 100 mmcf/d + 2200 bbls/d. Earlier he has said 80 mmcf/d…

20mmcf/d is a rather big fart

We all want an update from the company especially after the Chinook disappointing results, the delays and the recent flarepictures from Chinook.
But the company wishes to pressrelease only material news beyond their workplan. They will step up the game on social media bringing info about the new rig, Coho pipeline, Roystonrig, seismic etc.
At Chinook full testing is ongoing, but it looks like they will gather all info before releasing anything. That means collecting pressures etc.

Reading between the lines, Pauls latest comment suggests anyway that the flow at Chinook is commercial as he expects the gas from Chinook to go through Cascadura.

Hi Scott. The minister was on site monday. Normally the test is finished by now.
Txp also normally releases the IP figures. It is also normal to shut in the well after the initial test for a pressure build up as you wrote. After some weeks the pressure recorders are pulled and as you say they can determine different stuff.
I do not think they will delay the pressrelease of the IP numbers. They will most likely appear tomorrow…

Trinidad isn’t Canada or UK. Approvals that are fixed in hours in Canada can take weeks in Trinidad, but they are improving. And lack of equipement is also a problem. There are very few testrigs available at the island and weather and covid have also caused problems.
When they finally got the approval to test the Cruseformation, flooding caused road damage and also damaged a bridge.
Everything need more time in Trinidad.
As a matter of fact - 2 years from discovery to production from Coho is fast in Trinidad.

Jepp, wet weather and poor road conditions are part of the problems. Pair this with covid restrictions and you have the delay. The rig is mobilizing this week and anticipated spud is by mid July.
Testing will comments immidiate after td if equipement is available.

It should be spud with in mid July unless two incoming weathersystems hit Trinidad. As of now, they will go clear.

Shell is delaying the deal because Shell wants other things approved for their blocks and developments elsewhere.

But Txp has the minister and NGC on their side so sooner or later they will be forced…

and roadconstruction is proceeding unabated.

No Heritage will pay 20% of any future development costs. So like the cost for any surface equipment required to produce the well, and any pipelines that Txp has to cover (oil pipeline) and any cost associated in planning and designing such

The testrig was not at Chinook. The rig at Chinook was a service rig.

In Trinidad they have to apply for approval to test every zone. At the chinook well the Cruse formation was not a target at all. When the other zones failed, they had to apply for approval to test the Cruse formation. In Canada this is done in a few hours, but in Trinidad it can take days and weeks.
But the approval is ready, rig will move in tomorrow and testing will start next week. Results will probably be ready early the week after - week 24

I does not hope the market expects Chin to be equal to Cascadura. The two structures are quite different.

No, then I have been unclear. Most probably the testing had begun as Paul stated earlier that the testing would start early February. No pressrelease has said something else.

And there are some statements in some conversations that indicates that everything is going forward by reading between the lines. They now have focus on seismic, roads, testing and base production.
