I agree Kraken, think that will make all the difference. I am also not under the illusion that Mr Market is suddenly going to rerate Enq after the report on the 21st

Hitman, I do understand that they have linked performance to field reserves. I don’t think they should be allowed to twist the facts to their own benefit. I also believe that Enquest May have ‘added’ additional reserves to compensate so I guess it s a case of whichever way you want to believe it. I am quite frustrated that Mr Market has decided to take Cairns view with their own much more substantial problems. It seems Enquest always bear the brunt of others manipulative tactics. They seem ‘honest’ to me and AB has skin in the game, not just giving himself parts of the company which has to be a bonus

Hitman, the positive upsides are always balanced in my mind with the opinions of brokers and even IC who say sell. I am of the opinion that the only way IS up. Don’t necessarily mean SP which is controlled by bots atm but there are many positives on the horizon what with debt reduction and increased production. PLENTY of activity that curd turn this on a sixpence. I think when it comes, it’ll be a gudden. Hopefully the economy holds up else everyone is fecked

Samdcrab, there were quite a few wells producing excess water and then there was hurricane flooding of one site but it was a dud anyway if I remember correctly. Still waiting to turn that corner :)

I don't think prudent is the right word from Cairn. 'Underhand' and even 'deceptive' is more in the ballpark. As far as I am concerned there is no reservoir depletion, this is all to do with tax and share options. Unless they have an independent third party assessment of the reservoir, they can not make that judgement call. Unprofessional.

I don't think this is entirely 'above board' and will be sticking with Enquests version

I was soooo tempted to sell some of what I had left before Winx rns. Wish I had but will wait and prey. Hope we hear about Texas assets soon on the positive. Vos#1 appeared to have better flow along with time?? Or am I making that up?
