Anyone else wondering if a takeover could be coming . Global Foundries ?

I would guess Tower/Intel won't want this dragging on while the prospective takeover goes on so could make a quick out of court settlement or is the wishful thinking ? Obviously if they believe they have done nothing wrong this could go on for years ?????

I can't see anyone coming for a large salary as there is very little left in the pot . Only people I can see coming are an insolvency firm

Spot on Highside, IMHO I think insolvency beckons and an administrator will sell the asset for £1 , leaving investors high and dry .

Surely he has to take some of the blame as the company is probably worth 5% of what it was when he joined . Wonder if he got a pay off ?

Been working all day so just seen this and trying digest this news . Ffs what sort of clowns have been running this company ? Hopefully Global Foundries will take a majority holding and start running this company properly.

Also speaking of coincidences strange how a month ago IQE "partner" with GF and now one of their executives becomes IQE Chief executive. Maybe being cynical but my view is he'll come in and have a look then report back to his former paymasters whether takeover would be good idea .

Looking like next weeks results not going to hit expectations , constantly dropping , no one from the board investing , no sign of new leader . Been in and out of this from 6p unfortunately biggest investment at 140 before the shorters had a play . Need someone to take over and run the companyproperly for investors not themselves !
