Ant s got disagree with you there buybacks have been successful and some haven'we can go on and on which is best buyback s or special dividends but for me its finding the right balance fo the surplus cash which the board are trying to do this is aviva not some company that been about only a few years

Paul agreed with you 100% buyback s are long term i in for long terms so i pefer buybacks i old school investors to many investor s are chasing potential muti baggers with ridiculous PE s and good soild companies like aviva are getting over looked

No i have not and i did not say that i sent a email they received it simple has that but there no problem if i think the dividend too big i have plenty of time to sell and i can sure you others will follow and be very suprised if the board are not aware of that i pretty confident the board will get balance right with the special dividend and Buyback s

Around the 20p mark will be fine if they announced a special dividend anywhere near the £1 mark i sell up in a instant and i think a lot of investors will follow buybacks is the way to go with dividends rising steady every year the board kowns my feelings on a big special dividend and i quite confident they agreed with me

Its hard to say but one sure thing is the rising oil prices will definitely be beneficial to the deal that is trying to be agreed on

You think aviva is strong sell you must think there a big market crash and therefore the whole market is a strong sell because the fundamentals of aviva of never been this good for years
