Currently, Factom’s biggest IoT client is the Department of Homeland Security, which is now entering the 4th phase of the SVIP (Silicon Valley Innovation Program).

Smartrac Technology Group has announced that Alibaba Group will invest in the firm with the aim of ensuring both companies’ commitment to reinforce brand protection strategies.

As a result of this agreement, President of Alibaba Group, Michael Evans, will join Smartrac’s Supervisory Board.

“At Alibaba, we are continuously innovating and partnering to provide market-leading solutions and highest levels of brand protection for our clients,” Evans said in a press release.

“We are thrilled to support Smartrac and together provide brands with innovative product authentication solutions at scale.”

Smartrac has created a large suite of RFID-based solutions that aid the company’s Internet of Things (IoT) platform, Smart Cosmos.

£116k write down we’ve just pulled in over £8 million last week, got one of the worlds largest branding companies to become strategic partners and shareholders in Leap who produce unbranded gaming ready for company branding of choice. Factom series B funding about to be announced, our largest investor recently bought 10% of the company for just under 17p. What do we get? Clowns come on who’ve never posted about FFWD and couldn’t tell you nothing about the company quoting its going to 10p.

The factom facts that Snoot and most of the market is missing: Factom are no one trick pony They have 2 commercial products Harmony and DLOC The DHS IOT product is completely separate and unique product once phase 4 is passed will be a commercial product a fact stated by DHS as well as factom. The Bill Gates MEDICAL product is yet another unique product again once passed will be a massive success. Factom have other unique products in development ready to roll out. Series B funding will be complete shortly. I’m not worried by the current SP (discounting anything else in the PF) as it in no way reflects the near future worth of factom alone. Factom.inc will be valued in the billions. You’ll be holding this unique share or you won’t.

You 2 selling today, fair enough if you’ve only held a month or so. If you’ve held for longer and presumably done the reading then I think you’ve just made your greatest investment error.
