When Odonnell holds he has a very clear opinion on market mechanics and when he’s looking to engineer a few sells to enable a cheaper buy comes across like a wet behind the ears newbie. It’s quite pitiful to read.

For anyone else it’s fairly clear that there is very little buying or selling. There are a few ex-holders looking for a quick price drop, a dumb move because there won’t just be one or two people doing this manoeuvre and the SP will move ultra quickly on any decent buying as there isn’t enough free stock available.. Don’t forget that most long term holders are sitting on ~Nav averages so won’t be looking to sell until showing decent profits.

Who is questioning the Factom RNS...I haven’t seen one negative comment about it on here or one argument about it.

ODonnell you are as aware as anyone else that those were not sells. They were 2 buys..you do this consistently don’t you.

Plenty of occasions where a series B has completed and a series C follows and closes very quickly. Generally because people see who has bought into B.
Obviously C would be at a further premium thus increasing the value of A & B.

Stop thinking about a series raise like a standard listed raise. It’s completely different, to our favour.

Let’s imagine that the $6 million was to keep our % holding at 2%. Do the maths from that.

We want massive money raised at a huge premium to series A

The % is irrelevant it’s the number of units held x last raise price. Our % reduce but our unit value increase exponentially over subsequent raises.

As larger and larger fish buy into subsequent raises the higher the unit price becomes.

Series raises need to be thought in terms of units rather than % terms.
Imagine company X that does a series A and gives 1000 units away at £100 each. Company Z buys 10 units for £1000.

Company X then does a series B offering 500 units at £500 each. Company Z then keeps their 1% by buying 1 unit for £500.

What does this mean for company Z when company X closes the round and announces post raise valuation?

Company Z holds 10 units at £100 and 1 unit at £500. Cost £1500 Post raise valuation is 11 units at £500 equals £5500.

The post raise valuation could be massive in comparison with what we’ve actually invested

This may prove very rewarding near term in the post raise valuation of our stake

I like it. It shows a confidence from Ffwd for Factom. Also signals that series B may be coming to a close so they’ve kept terms(25% uplift to $8 million value ) the same.
