I’ve shares in the company and I think in the medium to longer term this will come good. To be honest I’m thinking more it will be taken over but time will tell.

I think you are being a little unfair on the other two posters. Today’s rns does leave a sour taste regarding the payment of £3,000 a month to the chairman. It does feel like he is feathering his own nest. I’m hoping this doesn’t develop into another of these aim lifestyle companies for the select few.

Anyway, hoping next update time it’s more focused on what they are achieving and focusing on investors rather than looking after themselves.

Call me cynical in my old age but you do have to wonder if recent share price weakness, the strange news about Mark Gordon leaving, not leaving was deliberate to keep the price low for this slightly low ball offer.
I’m really hoping for a counter offer :)

I’m intrigued why canaccord are not doing buybacks. It seems a little strange that over a week has passed without any purchases.
Anyone any ideas why that could be...especially when earlier in the week the price was much lower.

I think I’d be a be a little miffed at just £6 a share.
When you look at the portfolio of movies and tv they have, the strong team in place, Mark Gordon etc
But it’s beyond my knowledge on pricing the sale value of something like this.

It’s certainly would be a good fit for theses companies like apple and Disney who will need additional content to add to their catalogue when they have their streaming services up and running.
And the price has been to low anyway of late so it might just be a correction to bring it back up to the higher 400’s

It will take its time going back up, the traders won’t be happy.
But confident in the medium term at least a doubling in price and of course a very nice dividend too...bargain !

So what contracts are they going to lose heavy ?

I guess we all make that mistake of constantly looking at the share price and reacting to it when we really need to take the longer view. I think people over analyse things too. The markets are crap, oil is down, love for Genel is maybe a bit low at the moment but things will get better..be next month or next year....patience is the word.
Also agree on certain posters that appear. It happens on every board though not just here.
One in particular, who shall remain nameless, really gets on my proverbials. Moaned when a supposed holder, sells, but still appears to add his gloom. :)

I don’t get the shuffling from gkp to genl or the other way round. They are both oil companies but they are not joined at the hip. I don’t get why anyone would assume someone selling here to specifically going to buy gkp.

The stock market is just a joke, you’d be as well betting on a horse.
The market is all about making money for the people who run it and taking as much as possible from the punters. And as they are in control they set the rules to their advantage.

Then you have Trump..one tweet tanks or boosts the markets. And as he’s a well known dodgy character in business I’m sure he and his disgusting family are making a fortune off them.

It will be Woodford selling I bet. Until he stops this wil just go up and down in a range.
Really annoying as this should be a hell of a lot higher than where we are currently.
Patience needed and adding on weakness.
