Just for clarity...the coupon rate differss from Country to
Country and the higher the risk the higher the rate..

That would certainly be an element of the criteria used
for determining the rate...but I believe the risk consideration
determines the starting number ...
You could well be right, as finance houses/banks tend to keep
their calculations to themslelves...but if you liken it to Gov
Bonds....it is all about risk...the size of the bond and the coupon
rate are fixed at the outset and you can buy any part of at that
rate....no penalties or discounts based on value..

Roly....as previously stated the interest rate reflects
the risk...this being 11%, puts in in the higher band of
te 8-12% you identified.
One consolation is that the higher the risk, the more
due diligence that Boost will have preformed...so that
indicates a clean bill of health, with maybe a fwe minor
ailments......otherwise they would not have parted with
the money and just walked away...

Roly, did you know Muppets, as Primates, are part of
the Ape family, even though they are maybe a couple
of 000 years behind the evolution curve.
There is a tendency for in breeding which maybe the causation
of the major brain abnormalities and defects seen within the
local communities….

You make a good point, but you cannoit get away from the fact
the high interest rate indictaes high risk...
What I did find interesting was the "get out" clause of 3% for early
payment....this could be that they have sight of a buy out and are
covering all bases...

Roly, excellent post...must say I do have concerns with
the loan rate...normally the rate denotes the level of risk and
whilst they did indeed get the loan, they are deemed a high
risk having to pay 11%...plus 2% arrangment fee...

That apart, we live to fight another day.....
