I’m invested in the Marlborough Nano Cap fund which has a fund value of £352m. It’s 2nd largest holding in the fund is JLP at 2.37% of the fund. That equates to over £8.3m. I’m sure there are others out there as well, and hopefully this ii buying will push the sp back into the 20’s soon. I’m considering adding whilst we are down at these levels as my last add was at 17p, so could do with reducing my average buy price.

Thanks Fig. I did drop an email a few weeks ago about the statement in the March interview re ‘we’ll be mining in a few weeks…’, but never got any response. I’m guessing that was an off the cuff remark relating to mining on the old equipment and certainly pre-dates the D-Wave relationship, which is a far better solution for the R&D than using the legacy equipment.

Agree with your thinking Fig. Any win in the courts will be helpful, to fund further tech R&D, but I didn’t invest for the claims. My interests lie in the tech and the developments over coming few years, hence I’m also in GST as it’s the same theme but with a different slant.

My background is tech, over 30 years delivering network and IT solutions for a large UK based provider to one of the largest companies in the UK so I know first hand how tech moves quickly.

That said, I’m new to the world of crypto and still learning but have a couple of relatively small investments in this space which I hope will come good in the next couple of years.

What I’d like to see now though is for FG to provide us with regular progress updates via RNS. The comms hasn’t been great over the last few months, and some of the Proactive Investor interviews have not helped either.

I am still a bit mystified why the secrecy around the lead tech expert, and a little nervous about the use of Phd students and university professors. At times it feels a bit amateurish, for want of a better word. I hope I’m wrong in this respect and FG forges forward in the coming few months to develop solutions that others in the same space will want to buy or licence.

As Eddie says, court case is November (10th), but don’t expect a judgement on that day. My understanding of reading the RNS is that this is the first court hearing of several required under Italian law, and that there are several months of delay in the process before we actually get a judgement. My estimate is mid 2022. See extract below from RNS issued on 28th May:

CL17 will file a request with the Court for the restart of the legal proceedings.

The Court will agree a first hearing to restart the proceedings and allow the heirs of the defendant to agree to an appearance in court. At that hearing, the Court will agree a second and final hearing.

At this final hearing, the parties shall define their claims and the Court shall assign terms for the Conclusive Briefs.

Following this, each party’s legal counsel will have 80 days to file their Conclusive Briefs to the Judge.

The Judge’s ruling is then expected within a 60-90 day time frame following the conclusion of the Conclusive Briefs Period.

Given the rise yesterday I thought we might get API news today. Still nothing, so my expectation is that there will be profit taking this morning reversing yesterdays gains. I reckon we’ll be back in the range 1.5 - 1.7 by lunchtime.

Further positive results, and now multiple Concrete manufacturers interested, but importantly still no deal announced.

Nice little update RNS showing progress on growing facility, building the growing team and the acquisition of DJT. All positive!

This is another positive step forward in what could be a huge market. Should help the SP tick up today.

Agree FGH. I’m also in GST for the same reason and again have followed the money with their Director announcements back in January. I’m also significantly under water there as well at the moment but as you say, if you don’t get in very early you do miss out on the large multiplier effect. Not wanting to cross ramp but I’ve done something similar in the CBD, mining and a few other emerging sectors, and I’ m playing a waiting game on them all at the moment! Patience is needed here and in the majority of the rest of the freestanding shares in my portfolio!

Ronburgundy83 - I’m not talking the share down, just stating my honest assessment of where I think we are. It’s not in my personal financial interest to talk it down but at the same time I’m not going to write a load of waffle talking it up either when that isn’t my current opinion. I’ll be more than happy if in the next few days FG gives a brilliant update on the R&D but until that comes I still think we are still in the ranks of hope and sentiment.

Regarding the sector potential, yes I agree there is significant potential in the crypto sector, but share prices are rarely supported on potential only. You need revenue and profitability for that and at the moment we are still some way from delivering either so a share price significantly higher than our current is again sentiment only.

Belstaff - It’s true that there has been a reasonable number of large buys over the last couple of days. I’ve seen at least x10 go through for 1m or 1.5m volume, There have also been a few in the range 750-900k range during the same time. It could be that there is an information leak or just speculation of imminent news, but it could also be traders looking for another quick buck before dropping us again!

You say held back, but what is it you think should be driving the share price up?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a holder and would like to see the sp head north but there needs to be something to drive it. We aren’t mining, so although sentiment towards Bitcoin has improved recently that doesn’t really help us (yet). We have little or no other revenue stream currently and the court case is delayed until later this year.

I bought into CLP at the time when it looked as though we were going to mine. In the podcast by FG in March he stated we would mine on existing equipment in parallel to R&D, but that now seems to have been dropped purely to focus on R&D. I emailed the company for clarity on the mining on existing equipment statement but had nothing back. I’ll be honest and also say I was influenced by the £1m pumped in by John Storey, as given his track record I believed he was investing but given he promptly left the building and it rather looks like he was a riding a short term wave for a quick buck.

Like I said above, I’d like to see the sp move up if only to start to recover some of the paper loss I’m sitting on (average buy price of 2.4p), but frankly until we actually get some concrete news from FG then all the sp movement is purely sentiment driven with no basis!

Excellent trading update, with good revenue growth and plans for future sales marketing in 2022 combined with new sales channels both online and in store and starting to target overseas markets should result in further significant growth. Now lets start to see the share price move north!

Interesting particularly given the recent talk at Eqtec. I held both EQT and VLS for a while but sold out of VLS for a very small profit whilst the price was almost 7p then used the funds to add here. I’m still very happy with that decision.

Financials look good with revenue continuing to grow, and a decent cash position, new sales announced, enhancing the sales capability to drive further revenue growth, manufacturing facility on track and trials progressing. That all sounds very positive to me.

Good interview with a positive outlook. Had a have a little top up today and have managed to more than halve my average buy price!

It’s an known issue with automated processes that allocate the buy/sell tag. Shares with a wide bid/ask, like Love, are more prone to this than others with a narrow bid/ask.

Yesterday when I bought the bid was 2.7 and the ask was 3.7, so I expected to pay around 3.3/3.4. I submitted a cheeky fill or kill order at 3 and it came back with a buy price of 2.8, and so because that was virtually the bid price my trade shown as a sell!

Agree with you re this being a good price to buy. My initial investment was back in Feb and paid .28 so to be able to top up at .22 has given me a much lower average buy price.

As the whole market is down over the last few days as you describe, I’ve been topping up in quite a few companies where recent positive news has been overshadowed by the general market trend.
