Steve bt I you made a good call selling Aviva at 426p which it was trading at pre covid I don't think financial stocks are going up anytime soon and with Aviva everything depends on capital distribution whether it is by way of special dividend or share buybacks I firmly believe now fundamentals don't matter for a company and technicals are more important just take this week in question financial stocks making billions in profits yet billions knocked of mcap just because of taper trantrum in the usa

Yes the Dow is still down over 400 points no recovery into close and bank stocks getting hammered not looking good for financial stocks
