Applegarth,
I agree with the sentiment you expressed but am not prepared to cut him too much slack. I have often said he's trying to break in to a difficult market where most of these projects will rely on external (possibly gov't) finance to get them off the ground. Honestly, you only need to look at the past ramblings (for nearly 3 years) re. USK...then suddenly dead. Billingham and Phoenix are nothing NEW. All the research I have done points to these project s being talked about for SEVERAL YEARS with different partners. I do recognise the hurdles and have come to accept Ian's time lines with a pinch of salt. He's enthusiastic, a newbie, but naive imo
However.... I will not forgive him for two fundamental false information....as some would call it, misleading statements (or lack of rns), namely, from constantly saying near term, soon, advanced stage and words alike, he categorically stated Phoenix purchase order by end of JUNE. He's hasn't come clean on the reason for the delay except that he will keep us informed. Secondly, he KNEW full well Ebioss were dumping and trashing the SP (has to be internally known) and yet no TR1 when they conveniently dumped over 200 million shares.
We don't have a choice, unless want to take a hit and move on, but to wait for the next update. Surely all the talk about how much there's been an increase in interest and several projects at advanced stage.......let's hear about them. We all know what happens longer the silence goes on.
GL, DYOR.
Foxy, I had to chuckle at your post...ironic really!. With my recent venom directed at the Board, the Nomad and IR, that post could easily have been written by me...Lol!
I have a slightly different take to you...
Firstly, the £1500 in shares you refer to is now worth £1000....so, that's incentive no.1 or suffer a lower life style.
Secondly, the lenders now hold a decent stake in the company, are under water, have a man on the Board and imo, are keeping a closer eye on what the Directors are doing. May be a final throw of the dice?...sink or swim? On that note, remember if the company goes t!ts-up, the lenders along with the tax man will be the 1st line of creditors to be settled.
Thirdly, I have not yet written off something cooking with Ebioss's float. This could offer all parties an escape route if they consider a share swap deal in a reverse takeover. IMO, most likely a 1 for 1 swap, seeing their mcap and current SP. IMO, LTH's will be hit the hardest.
IMO, lenders and management would want to recover 0.33p... thus at least 50% gain is possible at some stage...even on speculation and no firm revenues. Worth a punt at these levels imo.
GL. DYOR.
Zoom/Solstace, Am a late arrival in your debate and have not followed what the point of this topic is....apologies if I am just being a dip stick!!
Also, Zoom, the registered office of EQT is:
EQTEC plc – Head Office
Building 1000, City Gate, Mahon, Cork, Ireland
Still not any wiser as to the point being made!
HeresHopin, If it is Ebioss, my belief is they'll be done by the end of this month. They need to have all their loose ends tied up for the restructuring AGM/EGM on 30th. Their management wouldn't want to facing difficult questioning by the shareholders.
At least ian has another couple of months before our AGM to prepare his answers....better still, pull a rabbit outta the hat.
GL.
DBB, Good to know you are keeping tabs here and hope you are well. TA_, no probs mate, water off ducks back. After all public BB's are for having opinions. good/bad.
I am honest enough to admit to my flaws and I acknowledge the negativity that I may have created. I want my investment to do well but retain an open mind. I am naturally an inquisitive sort of a person. I will nonetheless ease off for now as we await some announcement worth debating. As King5hott said the other day, we miss having those research sessions and debates. Here's to some productive debates in the NEAR future. I might even give the AIMigoes a warm reception if they turn up!!!
GL.
PS.. DBB, rest assured, if I find a molecule of info about our projects I'll chuck it in here.
Tell you what Ramzoid + TA_... I shall leave you in peace for now. Hope you ALL make money here. If you do, I will too. Take care and I'll look froward to quietly reading research you guys might post. GL.
Smokin, I can just about digest that perhaps Ian WAS hoping for the contract. As I said, that money would not have covered the Chairman's salary. So after raising 1.5 mill earlier this year, I had assumed there was enough in the bank to see us through at least 2019.
My issue is... demonstrate to the market we are primed to go places and then arrange a placing. Every time he's raised money, the same spiel follows.... along the lines of this will help accelerate/implement our strategy. At some point in near future, wouldn't surprise me if they have another strategy review.... 2 so far....
where are we up to with those 'advanced stage' projects?
You are bang on IMO yoshie. Funny how the BS news flow was rife to allow Altair & Co to exit but make no comments on the way down to set up (what seemed like) a decent package for themselves. It's not as if Phoenix invoice would've suddenly made us debt free. It would've been a poxy amount, not even enough to cover our Chairman's salary. The timing of the placing stank to heavens too imo. Why leave it til the last day before the Finals?....on the day that Phoenix invoice was to be paid?...... then to rub salt in the wound, Ian could barely muster words to sneak in a Phoenix update.
...and peeps wonder why some are overly negative!
:0)
Exactly what I was angered about HeresHopin. They knew about Ebioss (director on board and general close ties) and waited for low levels. Why the heck did they not arrange a placing circa 0.8p. Would've loved to have seen Directors align themselves with shareholders then....and be well and truly p***ed off for their massive salary drop. At least they will still be hurting seeing we are near 30% below their gesture. Will they pull their finger out?.... That fat finger of Ian stopped typing on Twittter at least.
No King5hott, except that (I recall seeing) they have AGM/EGM end of July. So their restructuring will get voted upon....a forgone conclusion imo as the bondholders effectively have them over the barrel..... sounds familiar?!
Thanks for the moral support King5hott. Conveyed my feelings perfectly. I just don't feel as enthused as I used to be, yet Ian used this term in the Finals!.
Believe it or not, I still spend my precious couple of hours over the weekend searching for those scraps. I think I have scoured every street corner in North Fork looking for a passing mention of the plant. All I keep finding is 2 to 3 year old info, nothing to do with EQT. Ditto Billingham (in North East that is! Lol!)
I still wonder whether Ebioss's floatation on the LSE may play role in our future....watch this space I guess.
On a serious note dealer, I'd love to chat about projects and plant (gasification type). A great way to take ones mind off the day to day SP. But Ian's not playing.
You and I know we've researched and discussed in great detail every potential deal, every rns and every MOU. Need some scraps being thrown in our direction. Over to Ian...... but please not another interview.
First of all, don't expect company to report anything ref. shareholding/transfers/sells. Nomad, Company and IR are not responding to questions on the matter as we are c***s apparently.
As for Choksy and BigMJ, I doubt they've sold out altogether. More likely diluted down to a lower level and relegated form the reported Premier League.
IMO.
