Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
A multi-bagger in a day is unrealistic, it's rampers getting overexcited. This has been a fantastic result, day traders will be having an effect, as will warrants. Patience is what is needed - 1p before Christmas is a more realistic target.
On Greenland alone it's an incredibly exciting company.
Add in Clogau St David, Gwynfynydd and the other 10 new targets over the Dolgellau gold belt that we now have exploration rights for, I can't wait to see where we are in 5 years time.
5th October - "Alba's team has collected 12 tonnes of material from four targets. A decision will be made as to whether to continue bulk sampling during October 2020, or to focus solely on further underground drilling, and will be advised on resumption of work activities later this month."
13th October - "The programme will initially focus on underground drilling, however the Company also intends to resume its underground bulk sampling programme during this month."
21st October - "See Figure 2 (in the PDF version of this announcement) for the location of the remaining bulk samples to be collected (JWBS002 being located at the end face of the stope and JWBS003 on the roof of the drive). See Figure 3 (in the PDF version of this announcement) for the location of the completed and next planned bulk samples."
As to where the assaying is being completed - "In respect of the bulk samples, the first bulk sample is being prepared for processing at a third-party processing facility in Cornwall. The remaining bulk samples collected in the programme will either be processed at the same facility or will be processed by the Company once the Company's bespoke pilot gold processing plant has been fully built"
One could assume the first 12 tons were sent to Cornwall, they must have had preliminary results, probably either extremely high or low quantity of gold, and decided they needed more data. As the bulk sampling campaign was completed by the 3rd November, we can assume that it has also been sent to Cornwall as our plant hasn't arrived yet.
I'm not a geologist so please correct me if I'm wrong. From my understanding, the drilling campaign includes both surface and underground. But because of the nuggety nature of the mine, the drilling is to identify the structure of the gold veins.
Bulk sampling is to identify the quantity and grade of the gold - the drill cores aren't representative of the quantity of gold (again, due to the nuggety nature). They'll identify areas where there's likely to be gold, bulk sample these areas, which will then give a better representation of quantity and grade.
What are people's predictions for timelines?
Surface drilling commenced on 3rd October for the “first phase of a surface drilling campaign of up to 1,500 metres in total”
“Final drill results will not be known and reported until all the drilling has been completed and the drill core analysed, assayed and the results reviewed and interpreted.”
LL001 183.5m and LL002 at 44m – creates a total of 227m drilling over 15 days including moving the rig once.
At this rate, the drilling of 1500m will take us to February, and then the time at the lab. Will we be looking at March/April for drill results?
These drill results are to identify gold-bearing zones, and will be followed up bulk sampling and block mining of those zones to give us realistic results in quantity and grade. I'm guessing by October next year we will know the true value of what we have in those Welsh hills.
Looking forward to the bulk sampling results in the meantime. An exciting 12 months ahead.

Just been reading back through January's RNS and look at all the visible gold marked on the mine diagram!

Hold for gold!
Happy weekend all
Hi all. Newbie investor here, I've been lurking in the background trying to learn all I can and this BB has been a wealth of knowledge (props to Saint-Tropez, elir71 et al!)
After a lot of research I've finally taken the plunge and invested as a LTH so thought I'd pop up and say hi.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the RNS's suggest ALBA will publish both underground drilling and bulk sample results at the same time? What are peoples predictions on the dates these will be announced?

Hi Unexpected3D, its good to hear from other GGP holders with a lower number of shares. First bought in in July with 10,000 shares, and topped up where possible - to me this is the kitchen sink, and this will be a life changing amount of profit. My first AIM investment and I'm excited for the future of GGP.
