The header is from the phulbari.org write up and I think it’s an important part of the process to coal extraction imho…….why would the creator of the website be bothered who the interim govt is in consultation with really?…..I personally think GCM may have some assurances from Rahman who has been in London years,the sort of assurances that have come round a bit quicker than the company may have anticipated?……to keep the stakeholders onboard with the majority knowing own resources are a way out of some of the issues at large puts GCM in the best position for years?…..

These green bozos couldn’t do anything more green than using phulbari super coal to clean things up…..and no that’s not a typo….the calorific value of the phulbari coal is so superior to this imported trash it’s the stroke of a pen to clean up the existing situation at no cost to the govt?…..🙄…..fire this super fuel through the existing modern plants ,while the latest technology super efficient plants at phulbari are constructed then shut down the polluting plants?……😂

This just sums up the state of the coal supply to the power plants,this relates to Matabari….tender offers for supply of coal were dragged through court,it’s so serious they ruled today no proceedings will be taken as to re tender (6 months) will seriously affect the coal supply to matabari…..

Fouzel ramping up the drilling and I would imagine sweating a bit at the thought of how much $$$…and where his next shipment will come from if the Middle East kicks off……..perish the thought it would cross his mind to help himself to the countries ready coal reserves 🙄

Malaysian president Anwar is due a visit to Bangladesh soon for some serious brotherly back patting…..I hope Anwar reassures Yunus if it wasn’t for the 40% of coal fired power stations in his country the lights would go out in Kuala Lumpur?…….even this Asian powerhouse that could afford to go green is doing the least it can to keep the politicians happy up to 2044

Will be interesting to see if they allow awl to be in the ballot….or even at the table for discussions going forward…..they have such a huge following still,and to not allow their people a say sort of defeats democracy?……I think they should be exposed to polling and be spanked hard…..that would clear up a lot of what ifs……really hoping the interim govt has its ears wide open now with these consultations as both jamaat and bnp were for own resources, and as far as I know there’s no alternative to chop the cost of generating electricity in a few yrs time other than hope and prayers?

There’s so much that doesn’t add up with the speed Yunus moved in on Bangladeshi politics……he failed miserably years ago to put together a political party and I personally think he’s blown it as his advisors are no more than Capitol Hill and a raft of green cuckoos…..the students are not stupid…..if I can see from over here most of his appointees have their degrees from Harvard and Yale then the Banglas,bnp,Jamaat etc are not gonna accept this………”rock star”….Yunus…..this is not what ordinary Bangladeshis want they want the basics to be better,slightly better wages,cheaper reliable electricity,stable food supply and clean water…..they can then kick start their entrepreneurial skills and get out of the micro debt trap that Yunus thrives in…..this is one of the greenest nearly carbon neutral countries in the world and this 84yr old crackpot wants to cripple the poor banglas with a generation of solar/wind/nuclear debt……..as I’ve said before the sooner he goes or steps back,gets off that throne and let the people decide…..not just the fkn students….the people…..all of the people…..

This could be a new look post UN…..Yunus has come back and all of a sudden he’s ready to listen to stakeholders whereas before it was fook them…..Fouzul could also have been told to cool it till the consultations take place……?

The plant was indicated to crank up in December……In doubt as Russia wants some cash,even if smiler sends them some cash apparently there’s no transmission lines from the plant!….that requires additional loans!,…..over to you again Yunus…….you’ve got yourself a very very expensive nuclear plant that can’t transmit its electricity………but just under the ground over the hill is 30yrs worth of resource to power existing plants…..
