I think the big Yunus/Biden/Clinton liberal loony greenwash student revolution has collapsed as the Biden bunch got absolutely annihilated at the US polls……..Yunus has had his throat cut with the liberal funding that he was banking on and now Trump has pulled the plug on USaid and ramped up fossil fuel exploitation……..this is grating the treehuggers running Bangladesh and particularly Yunus will resist the mining till the end imho……..that end is coming a lot quicker than he thought as the world has changed around him and these green policies are being scrutinised harder as they are impoverishing economies and countries………

Hasina had her own agenda and fought own resources…..Yunus was brought in with his agenda and it’s crumbled in front of him…….the pressure is immense now to get digging as the country is loaned up to the neck……..

That’s one heck of a scheme…..the only potential open pit in Bangladesh ready to go,$50mln invested in development I believe to date!

The Chinese will be more that aware of the diabolical electricity situation and no way would they ink billions of dollars of solar panel manufacturing without guarantees of energy security at the same time……..

Army Chief Wakkar has been to see Yunus again today…….it was flowered up as a courtesy call but i have a feeling he’s gauging how the December election he wants is coming along 😉

Great read thank you,all experts were in agreement the country needs its own resources,that as we know includes the energy minister Fouzel and Mansur the chairman of Bangladesh bank…..equivalent of Bank of England boss but 50x more intelligent 😂………Phulbari could be extracting coal in 3yrs but to get there they have to remove up to $20bln worth of overburden…..that has been quoted to be a fast early source of income for GCM……

I can be certain by some degree the interim govt won’t be seeking the advice of shyster swing traders on the stock market for specifics on the project!!…..

Gcm has thrown the kitchen sink at this to get it right on paper…then if it gets it’s place in the historic development of a new Bangladesh it’s over to the very experienced Power China corp……..

To cut to the crux of the article bangla needs action now with building itself inside out instead of this reliance on handouts…..it’s a long way to go and using it’s own resources is a major part of this new look from the interim govt
