I fully agree with how you're looking, and my money will be here until a deal is done. Some people just don't want to be invested in anything for more than a week. I have a colleague who will not consider looking at anything over 2 - 3 day hold, and who will check out for ~5% profit on average. In that time i've had several holds that have more than bagged. It makes no sense to me, but thats how they trade.

Short term traders won't want to risk their cash being unaccessable to them for an unknown period of time. Because they're taking small percentages its about number of deals over a time period. Suspension means deals can't be done

All this talk about potential suspensions is also going to spook short term traders, which would well explain the movements over the last few months.
