What on earth would lead you to believe that the news that they have managed to get a single well flowing with a small amount of mixed quality oil would have any appreciable impact on the share price one way or another (and that is not even accounting for the lack of positive opinion of the company that is entirely self-induced due to years of poor treatment of private investors)?

Spot on Seahawk. An omission is as good as a lie. Stating there is no immediate intention to raise only to arrange convertible bonds just further erodes any credibility (assuming anyone actually still credited the company with any).

That’s exactly what a short closing is. The entity buying the shares in the open market to satisfy the recall of the shorted shares by the entity they borrowed them from.
