Fishboy - I found that although HL told me two working days I could in fact make the transfer after one working day. It showed as a negative cash amount in my trading account for a bit but I could make the transfer and buy the shares back in the ISA account.

I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to MMs. So they in effect hold stock in the same way we hold stock?
