It is Obelix. You can only stay on the island if you stay at the monastery for religious reasons but day trips by boat are popular from Cannes and there is a restaurant.

We go to the west coast usually. Haven't been to Marseille and don't really know the South of France though did (pre-Covid) recently stay on Ile Saint Honorat off Cannes - beautiful!
