Now down to 2.12p, so not so bullish after all. This needs a re-test of 2 pounds, only then will it be allowed to turn upwards.

Could this fall to a price it has never seen before?…. Like a pound? If so, I’m a buyer.

Jefferies cuts Croda price target to 3,200 (from 3,900) pence - 'buy'.

Jefferies has cut its recommendations on Hays, following a review of Europe's business and employment services sector.

In a note published on Thursday, the investment bank said: "We continue to believe earnings momentum and market positioning will remain a key driver of relative performance for the second half of 2025."

Hays was cut to 'hold' from a previous 'buy' rating. Jefferies argued: "We expect earnings momentum to remain negative on the back of continued headwinds on perm and as we anticipate further downgrades."

The last time TW was relegated from the FTSE 100 was in the Sept 2018 review.

Using the weekly closing price, the share price at relegation was 172, and by mid December 2018, it had dropped to 132.

After 7 months in the FTSE 250, by mid April 2019 the closing price was 190, and by mid Feb 2020 it closed at 232.
