Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
What time does the meeting finish today, do you think there will be any announcements after?
Yes you’ve got a point, but this was hardly unexpected as it’s been happening at every AGM recently. Not great optics I would agree though.
I think Mon & Tues will be anti-climatic with regards to the SP, as I can’t see any new news coming out of it. Hopefully some vision is laid out for the next 12 months & some industry insiders will see this as realistic & postive in terms of prospects & brokers will reiterate price targets or even raise them, and the coming weeks will see sentiment shift. & finally see us climb back towards £1.
Despite Mites results, The ghost of Carillion was yet again in thr news today, so this was bound to further depress sentiment, as the months move forward this will dissipate. There seems to resistance at 70p at the bottom end and likewise at 80p when it’s positive, only time will get back towards £1 plus, and the chipping away at the debt which will take years, I don’t think anyone here is deluded enough to think anything but they are in for the long haul. It has been mighterly frustrating yes, can’t seem to get any momentum, patience will hopefully prove a virtue.
Used today as a top up opportunity, Ive managed to leverage an 84p breakeven point, pretty confident that’s the worst case scenario, albeit it’s gonna take a while. I don’t think the AGM will do anything for the SP the next quartey update should be a better berometer in my opinion as a barometer of sentiment, a quick resolve of the investigation would also help. Trying to remain cautiously positive.
@ snige. I have a sneaking suspicion Meta has his tounge firmly in his cheek with his 80p comments.
Agreed, whilst today’s news was positive it’s hardly had any effect on the SP we were trading higher than this two weeks ago. Since the broker downgrade followed almost immediately (makes you wonder) by the investigation we’ve been under the cosh, it’s gonna take more than today to move us forward sadly.
Could it be they are just hedging like a lot of us have been, & just the whiff of the city thinking that CC are buying might spook shorts into closing their positions thus taking this to over £1.30 which could be now closer to the position they need to close out? I’d love to believe that somehow this would reach over £2 in the next couple of months but somehow I just can’t see that, hope I’m wrong but I’ve never been that fortunate. Here is hoping we get some clarity soon.
The share price did jump up after hours, not that means much. They sold at 70p as well which seems odd as that price wasn’t available, only 2 weeks ago. Let the speculation begin.
If this is the case what do we think it will do to share price Tuesday?
A UT? Guess we will find out Tuesday.
I dont know about faith, but patience is being sorely tested these past few weeks. Can’t see much upturn here, nothing seems to move SP other than negativie news, major buys nothing, contrac wind, nothing. Gonna hold out, but can’t help feel this is gonna be a long old haul even to get to £1
Seems to be stuck, what’s going on?
I wonder what today will bring.
Looked like there were 3 trades at this amount, not that it made a jot of difference 🙄
A shame it couldn’t hold £2.51 today, i believe there is at least £2.80 in this in the near term, hopefully just a bit of profit taking and a better day tomorrow
What a brutal day, really disappointed but will stick this out until at least September.
Apologies, it was an old post from 30th April republished today.
You’d think with its buy rating reiterated by brokers it might help push if through 80p
Auction perhaps?
