Bo if they bid 61p and get outbid they can not place another bid for six months and will have lost millions employing advisers and analysts a short auction process is a completely different animal, they can all outbid each other as many times as they like, the losers will still lose millions, but they have multiple chances and all their are bids are visible to each other. We are in a win,win situation here.

I have day traded many times over the years, made plenty and lost less.
Have had plenty of times to day trade here but have stopped myself, could have made loads, but thought the risk was not worth it.

If there are a multiple bidders auction is the sensible thing for all parties and yes totally normal, saves everyone time and cash.
