In my opinion, they'll be redoing the acid wash using a different technique in one or more of the existing vertical wells to target the full pay zones in order prove oil and gas will flow.

They will then be in a position to prove the presence of a massive oil and gas field (obviously already achieved).
They can give the figures at which it is anticipated oil and gas will flow (the RPS report).
They will have also hopefully proved it will flow (redoing the acid wash and test).
They can put together a field development plan.
With planning and permits in place they have then optimised the value of West Newton and are in a position to consider selling it.
So the question of when will WNB-2 (the horizontal well) be drilled, is probably not a relevant one for Reabold shareholders.

Fair comment. I don't know anything about the company or deal you are referring to so i won't pass comment, but i will have a look see and a read up on both.

All we know up until now is that both Corallian and Reabold have said there will be a liquidation event in the first quarter of 2022 and they have been stating that for the last twelve months.
My best guess is they are trying to negotiate the highest price possible before they sign on the dotted line and i think they must have had an interested party or parties to keep repeating that statement.
