You can see Colin smirk during the LSE interview when asked how much will 340 million shares get you at current share price. He knows the price is a joke at the moment, his face said it all, hopefully it gets left until we’re at a higher SP.
WHYAST1605 - I completely agree, as it stands right now that RNS is just an empty threat. That’s presuming that anyone of any importance in the Slovenian Govenrment is even aware of the statement.
I would of like to at least of seen some development, as to where we stand right now. Appears like we’re being given the runaround.
If I were to hazard a guess...judging from the manner in which he points the finger at the company in every post, he’s down a lot on his investment and cannot face the fact that HIS poor investment cost him money. So now wants to drag everyone down with him so he’s not the only one who’s lost out. Misery loves company after all.
And what do you propose if NO is a success? What’s next on the cards with well production declining?
Enlighten us to your thought process behind this.
I personally voted yes and sold 1/3 of my holding, either I get in at a lower price again or I’m breaking even again. AST have their backs against the wall with no hand to play at this moment in time. IMO options to raise is the only option for the company to move any further.
You know it’s to vote on the OPTION. You’re stating facts like it’s guarenteed to place. Albeit it’ll more than likely happen if things do south with JL, however at what share price is unknown, plucking numbers like 0.2 is absolutely pointless, unless you’re going to back it up with some theory?
CH isn’t stupid, it’s in his interest aswell as ours that the SP doesn’t go down the toilet(or too far down at least).
If you’re trying to de-ramp, why don’t you actually post some facts. Maybe someone will take you seriously then.
More than likely missed the deadline by now. Just ring/email your broker to enquire.
I wouldn't hold your breath, someones on a rampage
Last two questions from the article. Make of it what you will.

Ascent wrote that they had the assurances of an important official to get permission. Are you familiar with this?
Geoenergo, which produces gas in Prekmurje, responded to some of the questions that arose after Monday's resignation of Ars Director Josko Knez.
I do not understand that it would be meant that way. I understand the statement of Ascent in a different sense. The application for environmental protection was filed by Petrol Geoterm or now Petrol Geo, and for the second process by Geoenergo. We conducted the procedures in accordance with all the procedures, we answered all questions promptly and provided any additional explanations. Ascent I understood in the sense that we came to the end of the period, Arso has all of his explanations, documentation and expert opinions from us so he can carry out and finish the process.
So you do not know for any special assurances?
That interpretation is wrong. He guarantees that no one will be issued a license. The Agency must complete the procedure.
Irregularities such as a misplaced rubber stamp.
Jokes aside, I wonder what this means for permitting processes going forward. A step in he right direction I feel, one hurdle at a time.
What’s with posts being removed???
My thoughts exactly NEW2LSE. We’re opeetating on chinese whispers here.
Or that’s how it appears anyway, maybe the gears are turning behind closed doors and we’re just not being informed anymore, in order to protect the permitting process from any further detrimental emails from environmentalists with an addenda/ angry PI’s. IMHO
A repeat of the 52week high of 21st Nov 2017 would be nice
I agree Convex, could go either way at this stage. One side we hear they’ve been wanting to streamline the processing procedures whilst also increasing foreign investment. However like you say, it does seem strange that it’s being interpreted these private assurances shouldn’t of been made. Hopefully Colin can whisper some sweet nothings to improve relations.
I am however rather suprised that there’s been no backlash from the minister tweeting and then going on holiday, rather than official channels notifying AST, working on the assumption they didn’t that is.
EC - No legal / court fees = no need to raise surely? Wasn’t the placing only being done to fund the event of taking legal action?
I would like to see the outcome of these talks with the minister before voting on fund raising IMO.
I think the permits would be more than enough for AST and the majority of holders IMO
Perhaps he has just recently been forced to resign from his job
Might not even need the fund raise if all goes well with future discussions over there!
Very well traded by some it would appear Reg
0.65 paid, getting hammered with trades right now
Very well worded RNS. Rather than clashing heads with the minister, let’s fine some middle ground and work together, to benefit both parties involved.
