RE: Q&A feedbackm my point of view24 Oct 2025 09:29
I've re read the lengthy TG group discussion this morning and if I can try to summarize what they seem to be concluding from the Q&A. My best effort cravat emptor.
Punters say they are tuning out from JB feeling that what he says is irrelevant or exaggerated (one said lies). Theo seemed ernest and said money urgently needed.
they need 2m-5m fast to keep the show on the road.
they will then need to pay all the closing cash considerations for the various deals, not specifically tallied on TG but is it about 20m-25m, 12m to Sibanja and 8m to Sunrise or of that order?
Once closed the transactions, and once funding in place, the Sibanja shaft needs major refurbishment, main shafts/ventilation shaft/winders/moters, Theo worked at the site in 1990-1992. Once funds in place and once regulatory approvals are in hand Neo then can start the process and will take 18 months of surface preparation, paperwork, studies, regulatory and compliance, then 18 months down the shaft, with blasting and drilling able to commence after that, seems to be come out at about 3 years.
As to Refurb costs Theo stated was 80m-100m.
lots of work ahead, TG group helpful for information
