Great news Bob, removing all directors who were complicit in, or allowed poor decision-making in the Sidara road show.

KG, RF and the board have been very weak in negotiating with Sidara, telling them that the company was sinking fast and any offer would be mindful to be accepted.

There would have been better off saying no sale currently until we turn this business around, refinance debts and win every contract that it can to enable it be cash flow positive.

It may have saved them their jobs and also given them a big payoff should it have been sold in the future for the same amount that Apollo or Sidara offended in 2023.

Iain Torrens can clearly see the potential in being CEO and also the rewards to him if he bins Sidara and successfully turns WG around, the vast amount of global rebuilding, infrastructure, oil gas etc available is something not to ignore.

MickJ76, I don’t think Ken will be involved now, lain will be covering both positions, having Ken around would not benefit WG with what is currently happening. It may be that Ken has been found out and evidence has come to light of his manipulation of accounts and also forcing through the Sidara deal without transparency . Interesting how the previous CFO left under a cloud, Roy Franklin chairman leaving shortly and KG gone, sounds all very dodgy.

It is very clear that the board and investors have lost confidence in KG, he has been told to go, he is not part of the strategy going forward.

He should have seen this coming, he will be on gardening leave now and have no involvement in anything going forward with a NDA and payoff

Novo Nordisk will acquire Akero Therapeutics, a clinical-stage company developing a treatment for fatty liver disease, called efruxifermin.

If the vote for extension is given and debt is extended to 2028, the pressure is off, institutions can then negotiate a better deal regardless of the BOD’s requirement.

FY 24 trading update quoted company turnover at $5.7 billion with good growth in Operations.

The figure could be far more for 2025/2026, how does a company that has ongoing contracts, great relationships and a global brand go into administration because of debt, many large businesses have huge debts

If Sidara pay £216 million to shareholders based on 30p with a proposed capital injection of $450, all costs will all be recouped within 12 months.

The debt won’t be an issue as this can also be managed within 3 years with good leadership and a new board, changes will be made immediately if the takeover is successful

Wait for the results, the RNS is only about exceeding the borrowing limit, the board seeks approval to disapply borrowing limit until Oct 2028. The board are worried this could effect the Sidara deal.

Below is a statement that is on Sidara’s portal, my opinion is it will may more then 30p to complete this takeover, even if it has to pay 60p to shareholders, it will as too much investment already at stake

Interesting to see if Sidara suddenly offer the original 35p to shareholders to test them. 30p was made after its due diligence review, not seeing the accounts.

Once the accounts are published, Sidara will be in a rush to complete the deal, I believe that there is more head room, Sidara will have priced an uplift in to takeover WG should it be required.

£18 is easy achievable within the next 3 months, no one expected the huge rise from £1.50 to £16 region, Hemo will continue to gain traction and become more valuable. The treatment milestones are being ticked off gradually and more companies/people are noticing Hemo now then ever before.

BP has approved a $5 billion project to extract oil from a field in the Gulf of Mexico that is under such high pressure it was regarded as too risky to exploit when first discovered.

The FTSE 100 energy group said that since striking oil at the huge Tiber field in 2009, it had worked closely with the industry to help develop the technology necessary to “safely manage pressures of up to 20,000 pounds per square inch”.
