Rendj, if you Google it Motley fool has a good article on market makers, that article states that MM's tend to keep a relatively small float of shares, so there is no way they would have bought RA's shares and be holding onto them.

Rendj, my understanding has always been that MM's don't hold shares, all they do is match buyers with sellers.

I suspect the herd will wait a few days then move on if AFC continue as usual with limited news flow, SP will once again start the slow decline until the next news, but each time the low point is higher than the last.

MPO as someone else mentioned the exercising the options means the employees have bought shares not sold them, that's why the number of shares in circulation has increased following the RNS. They were awarded an option to purchase at 8p, they have now exercised the right to purchase, and who wouldn't when the price was up to around 30p ! You won't get an RNS when they have sold the same as you wouldn't if i sell mine.

i have to say i'm loving it, out again on my 3rd top up today @33.6p with a 40% profit over my last two trades, original holding is becoming insignificant.

@Anneowl, yes but it's taken me a few years to master it and still got it wrong last week, made 30% in about 4 days, sold some on the day we had the 6% drop only to then buy in again a bit higher but then i've got too much invested, basically my only shareholding now except for the dismal Empyrean Energy. Glad to see all the long term sufferers enjoying the success at last. You are one of few posters i have always agreed with everything you've posted, even some of mine i've hit post and then immediately wanted to retract it !

When we reach 60p which was my original buy in, and starting trading AFC instead I will have a 7 bagger and will have recouped all of my previous losses since I first opened my eTrade account in around 2002.

Adam Bond, chief executive of AFC Energy (LON:AFC), tells Proactive Investors the latest fuel cell deal unveiled today in Dubai is a great start towards the group’s goal of having 1 gigawatt of capacity under development by the end of 2020.

The company has just announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dubai Carbon for around 300 megawatts of its fuel cells in Dubai.

Bond explains the role water can play in the company’s ‘value proposition’ and insists by the time the cells are deployed, the company will have a ‘fully commercially compliant project and technology’.

It’s a fifth of the promised capacity from AB by 2020 don’t forget.

But if he’s sold off book then it’s not RA who has been selling ? Not sure I understand how this works

The comparable English expression would be in the medium to long term, lol.
If RA’s shares have been negotiated off book would this have any effect on the share price today ? Ie if one shareholder decides to pass their shares to another.

seeing as we like to compare everything to the size of a football pitch in the uk, google says a football pitch is typically 76,900 sqft so we've got over a third of a football pitch, i would say that's a decent size.

Going from small samples for research to full volume production could well be rocket science otherwise it would have been done long before now, we also have no idea how long it will take, but I would suggest years rather than weeks.

Robtheman, i still have my original holding at 60p from around 6 years ago and a 2nd top up at 31.8p invested, originally my 2nd top up was going to be for trading, that then became a permanent investment ! and now my third top up is used for trading. Just keep seeing the same patterns repeating and with Schoeders having got in at 16p i'm sure there still plenty of offloading to be done.

AFourleafClover, i've just sold my top up from last week, in at 18.4p out at 25.3p, i've learnt not to get greedy with AFC and get out when you can make a good profit, also last week the share price was only going one way, in the past when we've had a 'this is it moment' the share price has stalled and then drifted lower for several weeks/months with no news. All IMO of course.
