in essence i suppose what im try8ng to say is that Ivan is spending Glen money to buyback shares, which he then obtains the benifit of 9% of for no cash outlay of his own. So his true holding-/value is 9% of his own paid for stock + 9% of the treasury stock value that Glen is paying for on top, at nil cost to ivan. bet he gets shares options too lol.

Call me a cynic but thats how it looks to me, and Ivan does love a dodgy deal (allegedly)

dont post on here very often, far to political and argumentative for me, but what i never hear said is that the 'younger' generation who are so 'affected' by us allegedly older people, who so selfishly wanted to leave, change their minds in the future and decide the wrong choice was made - then they could always vote to rejoin the beloved EU having given leave a whirl.

Lets face it, if the younger remainers and older leavers labels are correct (which i doubt personally) then their oppertunity to do this and vote in a political party offering a further choice, in say, 5 years is only increasing.

i also assume he holds those 9% in some sort of private vehicle, and as he personally then owns 9% of the business and its assets, it follows that he must then also own 9% of the treasury stock that the business is amassing with its buybacks? i remain very suspicious as to why these shares are not cancelled as per the norm.

So his true 'shareholding' must be higher (i.e 9% of usual stock owned + 9% of the treasury shares as a 9% company owner) - which would explain why glen oddly doesnt cancel its buy back treasury stock.

Afterall why would Ivan want to cancel them if he ends up owning 9% of them as a 9% shareholder, if im right then cake and eat it springs to mind.
