The 5% WOW jump has already been put to bed. A minor % uptick after HUGE worldwide upheavel, which has now subsided. Hardly a game changer at all, and yet again just your biased personal view. Only time will tell, but the 85% fall in sp since that advantage disappeared is somewhat telling and very relevent to the 54p sp today.

The website has gazillions of bikinis swimwear beachwear on its pages, you dont really need to try very hard to find all those thousands of products its offering. But if your telling me (in your infinate wisdom) that BOO is not selling such items at the start of the holiday season (overrun with tourists down here in Cornwall) then id be even more worried about my investment here than you clearly are already

Fortunately, the pandemic is all but over, people are taking no notice of it whatsoever anylonger and returning to the shops, from a near zero start when such behaviour was prevented, so of course it doesnt take a rocket scientist to realise the numbers maybe lower as starting from a low base..

It also doesnt take a rocket scientist to realise that any 'covid' 'lockdown' advantage has now been nullified completely. So leaving mainly cost and personal preference as decision makers to consumers moving forwards.

Relentlessly expecting online growth to continue with the withdrawl of such a 'WOW 5%' boost is dreamland territory. Some people like physical shopping - lots of mrs DTN's around.

Which all goes to partly explain whynthe share price of this company is 85% lower than it was. THAT is not growth, its a lemming like decline in anybodys language, except yours.

Just to help your thought process a touch and show balance, it maybe that the huge snarl up in delivery companies, the likes of Royal Snail, Evri etc, put many people off ordering online in November, and hence prompted the sales volume drop off?

Lots of factors to consider, but to just blindly expect huge 'growth' in online sales to continue indefinately is a little bit of dreamy thinking, although i take your point it has no doubt increased in the last ten years (your doc says by 50% - id have thought higher personallly?).

Maybe some people have too much invested in the whole online concept, emotionally and financially which clouds objectivity?. There are plenty of people that see and prefer other alternatives to online, the high street is not dead yet.
