RE: Proxy No Cofidence - Time to Exit?8 Dec 2020 15:56
Same here Falcon. I'm a holder since 3 years only and my average is about 13 cents, now with 300k shares. This is one of 12 individual stocks I hold in various sectors, most of what I do is otherwise in index ETFs. I am happy to stock pick what I believe will multibag over 3 years. I like/d the story very much but the execution of everything just seems botched - from comms, to deals, to the way Origin and contractors drilled out recently. I didn't like the farm out, it did mean long term protection but diminished us to the roof of the bus, we're not really passengers we are now luggage. Something is definitely wrong with the shares being flooded into the market whenever there are buyers, always seems to be a selling stock, no pressure at all. I haven't given up yet, but a slight uptick will see me selling half, or maybe more. There are other more reliable places or better prospects in other sectors to put your money. I made more on EXRO in 2 weeks than I think I'll ever make here now. I feel that POQ will let this wither on the vine, until he's cleaned up. You'd think his motivation would be to cash in with a far higher stock price, do a deal, maximise value but it's not panning out - perhaps not all his fault but the transparency, visibility, execution also just isn't there - or he is massively handicapped by Origin. The last comms but one on the drilling - that was so badly done, I almost lost all faith right there - if the quality of people they have let that RNS go out, well, how can you react to that as a (fairly) serious investor ??? what nomad or serious CEO can sign off on such poorly worded drivel that was bound to confuse the market ? Anyway, rant over, I am also looking for reasons not to sell, rather than reasons to add and I know a few major holders who feel the same - that the long term may be good, but we are a freight passenger with no control on an unproven commercial resource. Thank you to all the really technical posters on here, your insights and updates are wonderful to read. Davo
