The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
This is defo taking a bounce up tomorrow, the sp has been dropped all week to allow cheaper entry for all, i honestly thought it was going to float between 37-39p until news of a bid came Or better still rise up to the bid deadline but theyve played a great game, taking it lower and lower, letting the weak bail out it looks like that 850k was a big order fulfilled for someone in the know or taking a position to make a nice profit. Can see at least 10% rise tomorrow, wouldnt want to be out of this over the weekend, Think 50p minimum offer but hoping for more.
Right folks, its time for me to get savvy with my shares. Can I put hemo into a share ISA? I have 200k shares That id need to buy first in my isa before i sold in my trading account cos no way do i want to be out of this for even one minute But id probly only be able to put 100-150k into the isa allowance. Is it 10% tax rate on profits over £12500? Is there an allowance for being married at all, can you double the allowance or would i need to open an account for my wife? Dont really want to do that as shes a bit of a bad luck charm. I also hold AA and think i could add these to my ISA but id rather put hemo in as its got a higher reward factor. Any advice is much appreciated
Agree, follow the big money and also look at all the shorts closing. They know its only going one way. I was in this for a longer term investment at 19p and hoped to get to 65p in 1-2 years. This could arrive sooner than i thought, 3 confirmed bidders and one unconfirmed bidder for takeover or we re-finance ourselves which would have to be in the shareholders interest, reduce / pay off the debt and and see the profits and SP increase year on year. I cant see a downside to this. They way the company management has re-structured recently, they must also have a strategy on how to reduce the debt so theres always a chance they could let the bids take the SP up to say 60p then offer up a discounted share rights issue to shareholders. Think i’d prefer the takeover and exit at my target price of 65p but with a turnover of over £1b a year, i wouldnt be surprised to see this go for 80-100p. I’ll throw my guess in at 85p. Hopefully we get a confirmed bid next week and they dont all wait until the very last day, someone needs to show their hand. GLA
Can someone video it and post it up later?
Stop ramping HEMO, we dont want the pump n dump brigade over there.
Exciting times ahead with numerous updates on all of our current work programmes. I like your thinking JHFH, Vlad and Eli Lilly representation sitting all cosy at the webinar like two grinning cheshire cats, hopefully dropping major value adding hints or updates if not already released via RNS beforehand. I'll need to finish work early on Monday.
I honestly think we'll have an update / news before Mondays Webinar, the globalco reveal felt like there was definately something to follow in the lead up to Monday. Could be this afternoon, could be tomorrow, but certainly feel that we'll be dropping any collaboration news in line with American markets now. Tuesday would have been the ideal time to drop news if we had any, to follow on the back of Mondays near 50% increase, could be a bit of naiveity on the companies behalf there not to follow it right up, but I can't believe people are selling at these prices, hopefully its just the ones who caught the spike, we've all been there. It crossed my mind to sell some at 10p but wasn't worth the risk if i couldnt buy my volume back - so 25% drop since Mondays rise, we'll make that back many times over in the coming months. Im looking forward to the next few trading days, something is definately brewing.............GLA
Just incase we get a 7am RNS.
100%, defo more news coming this week without a doubt, vlads probly been sitting on all this info, itching and waiting ready to
Divulge and now he has given us globalco a few days early to let that settle before he gives us some more rns pleasure, he’ll have everyone eating out his palm, gearing up to be an amazing week, hold onto your shares! GLA
The guys a toad
Quickdraw - I've seen a number of rns's now since I became a shareholder of HEMO and each time they fly up 20% etc and end the day up a poor 3-5%. I'm basing my opinion on actual events that have already occurred with this share. No due dilligence- I wouldn't risk £15k if I hadn't done my due-dilligence. Give me some credit!
Sorry guys, I do love being wrong, shes flying now. I just gave it the once over as I flew out the door to work and never fully interpreted the content, lets hope for a nice re-rate and steady incline into the next RNS.
I agree Dufry, not much details in the rns, they need to inform us who globalco are. Cant see this doing much to the sp if I’m honest. Its like they need to drop some news to stop the sp falling off a cliff and they’ve managed to leave us hanging and guessing again, but this might add 5% if nothing more. Hope I’m wrong, all this access to globalco b/s but with no talk of monetary value, I’m glad Vlad is pleased, but that doesn’t get the market to agree.
Praying for a good day all the same GLA
It looks similar to last week, big order being filled at this very cheap low price range. Someone had a whiff of an rns last week and Vlads tweet over the weekend hinted that news was coming, what a guy! Anyway, hoping we'll gap up to above 7p placing price this week and show some forward momentum from there. The futures bright, the futures HEMO!
The ftse set to open up 2.5% down, its a bloodbath day coming. Hopefully this rns doesnt get washed away, might even make it better with the recent outbreak started again in beijing.
Amazed to see another red day here. WOW! Thought I’d see some green on the board first thing this morning :(
What the actual ....
Maybe the seller isn't finished selling or a massive order is still being filled.
I went against my own advice and topped up yesterday thinking it was near the bottom, hope to see some green this week.
GLA
Definately due a positive re-rating, can see it coming this week, massive volumes getting bought up today
Ive just topped up at 5.5p, this is way oversold imho and brought my average down, now holding 200k shares, loads of buys going through. I’ve been expecting a market retrace for a while now, a lot of stocks back to pre-covid prices without any income or sales, unbelievable, e.g witherspoons - went from 700p to near 1200p without any pubs open / sales or income???
100%, im not gonna wager 10k without some due dilligence. Its all about timing, i guess i was a little late to the party here and cane in on an upward movement, i have cash to buy more to average down but i dont like that much exposure in a pharma. Ive been stung a couple times before with pharmas ICX & Alzyme back in 2009, so tend to feel a lot more tense with this stock in comparison to my others. I hope you’re all right and i am just over thinking it but 30% down in a bullish market is not very good, i normally set myself a 10% Loss margin, not with a stop loss but just as a rule of thumb on each stock i buy but somehow i let this one slide as i thought it was being played. Heres to some green next week..
People on here seem to think this is the no.1 share, be all and end all. Eat, sleep & breathe HEMO. I fail to see it thus far,a lot of good work in the pipeline coming through, but there is no move without news. I own over 100,000 shares, £10k worth at an average of 9.2 and although i do see it as a long term investment, its frustrating to see do many red days and a loss accumulating in the portfolio, when you could have shut your eyes, picked any stock and made money these last few weeks.
On the day we had the RNS afterhours with all the juicy info, i digested it, loved it, half expected a next day bagger and the share actually went down or finished 5/10% up, i cant quite remember exactly but, i couldnt quite believe it. I am losing the faith here, i know its a good company, but without news this could quite easily end up back at 2p level, no matter who bought up the pile of 2.5m shares at 7p, they dont make the market. Its a bit stuck in the doldrums, the AGM was a chance to give a brief positive update but didnt do much, that RNS a couple days earlier was also A pointless no value adding RNS when we were on an upward trend which halted progress.
If something goes wrong with any of the pieces we’re working on, this will take us down. Apologies for the dis-hearted post but thats my feeling at the moment, the amount of post saying wait two months it’ll be worth it, it wont be worth it if we drift to 2p then have news and bounce back up to 4/5p. I expect a response saying just sell. I dont want to sell but there is a fear factor that this could go well below what it is if we have no news in 2 months with more sellers and bored P.I’s. My opinion is based on being a holder for 8 weeks now so i mean no offence to long term holders Who are sitting on a nice profit. Better communication and shareholder consideration should be Sought after. Too much cryptic info out there that leaves you guessing. All my opinion, just had to get it off my chest GLA
