The only certain thing is that the share price is going to move in a big way in the coming days or weeks. You may only be seeing a part of the short sellers' strategy. They could be both long and short aiming to quickly get out of the losing position.
C=k.r r = c/k
C + 1 = k.r1 r1=( c+1)/k
r1-r = 1/k
All implied in the proportionaliity of C to r. But unintuitive nonetheless.
On his death bed, one of the first billionaires (Rockerfeller ? I forget) was asked by his nephew for the secret of his success. The old man who was fading fast beckoned the young man to come closer so he could whisper in his ear "Buy low and sell high" .
Quite agree. Keep your eye on the fundamentals not the sp. After all, investing is about betting that the market has got it wrong!
The start of commercialisation?
Don't blame the company, blame the markets. Genel is doing exactly what a cash cow should do - ploughing cash back into the business and returning some to shareholders.
Paolo. I couldn't agree with you more regarding discussing the downside which is why many serious commentators dismiss bulletin boards.
I haven't yet watched the interview with MH (it's late). My take on today's RNS is that it is very positive. hRPC we already know about. The exosome project now sounds as if it's really coming off the back burner with some potential commercial interest. The only thing that could be construed as negative is the 6 mo delay in the stroke results. Olav in one of the videos says (in precise medical terms) something to the effect that some stroke patients have damage such that regeneration is not possible (ok I'm not a medic). If this is the case then perhaps they need to expand the study such that they have a significant subset of treatable patients?
Apart from that I think we have seen two very determined tree shakes which in themselves could be taken as a positive!

Stockopedia which helpfully does the consolidation for you, shows an all time high of 4,816.63p at close of day on Jan 5 2007. Our recent rise is barely discernable when you set the chart scale to "all time".
Instead of banging on about deramping it might help to read the RNS's. Any attempt to evaluate the downside isually provokes a similar response. "Those who bury their heads in the sand sometimes get kicked up the backside"

We are scheduled for a 15 min presentation at 2pm (10pm UK). I emailed the organisers and they confirmed that there is no live coverage. There will be an 'executive summary' published subsequently on the website.
Pravin Dugel MD, Managing Partner, Retinal Consultants of Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona, and Clinical Professor, Roski Eye Institute, USC Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, California, and study investigator, commented:
"I am excited that the rapid and remarkable visual improvement in these RP patients has been sustained and even improved upon at 60 and 120 days. It is especially gratifying to feel the excitement and joy in my patients where this objective and subjective improvement in their vision has been a source of hope following years of slow but steady progression towards blindness."
