Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Actually I see this was debated on this board on 27 May under title Newcrest article. I think the conclusion was that Citi meant the combined operation would make Telfer Tier 2.
I agree, Addicknt, it's odd. I think the US$850m-1bn is based on 70% but it's not totally clear. Difficult to understand without seeing their full calculations which I presume are unavailable. The article is a good summary of recent history.
It's funny though. Some months back we had rampers on Monday to Friday (remember goldinvestor?) but they gave it a rest at weekends, which was when we had the best discussions. Sorry I don't contribute more, but it's hard to add to the quality posts on this board. D.
I agree with MFU's original post. If we had started level and climbed 10% we'd all be delighted. As it was, we jumped 10% then stayed level (when all about us have been falling). I'm happy. Great results, further derisked, buy more as funds and prudence allow.
Great work Paddy. I did notice the new diagram on page 20 or 21 and thought hello, hello, hello. I didn't realise the size of the breccia before. Glad to see a computer measurement. I shall be doing some sums over my coffee later to see how rich I think I am going to be! However we can't alter what is down there so I am happy however this turns out. GLA.
