The difference is the market expected positive outlook for the summer which is not happening. There is also uncertainly over delta variant and international travel. Also there is a gap in 150p which sadly probably will be filled

Still not sure how the cases will decrease in 3 weeks time or at least get stable. With so much cases uk will banned from the other countries. Furthermore, us will not allow inter travel with uk soon

Aer Lingus delays the start of Manchester US route from end of July to end of September. This means long hauls between US and the rest of the world will not open for the summer. The earliest date I can see this to be announced is end of july. I think we have another problem here and this is Biden's administration which is too cautious. The progress of US vaccination just stopped The UK government is saying they are not much positive about travel this year. Why they would do this if they see positive things coming? It seems the summer is lostAutumn/Winter - I donot expect same scenario like last year but we will struggle for sureOn a positive note, EU is progressing well with the vaccination Robbyw, any thoughts?

Robbyw, I agree with you. But what is worrying me is the rising cases. With 80%+ of adults with immunity, the virus should not be spread and we should not see this rising of cases. Really started to worry about this.

The other concern I have is we are approaching the middle of the summer where the Airlines get profits, but still not clear direction yet from the government. I would say half of the summer is lost
