Thanks for your response, I had conflicting advice so it's good to get confirmation from someone who obviously knows.

I have taken the costs into account.

Is there a limit on the number shares / value that you can sell in one day/trade?

I find the ongoing 'personal attacks' tedious, can we maintain a level of decorum and post about shares, market etc which is useful information to aide a sensible discussion.

We all have our opinions and we should respect that and not attack them.

I purely based it on previous percentage rises around 'good news' . An educated guess if you can do such a thing!

Based on the market volatility its hard to predict a price. Based on the increase in large engine orders, entry back into narrow body market and the SMR growth, as a standalone it should hit £15.50

Out of interest, do you pay tax a certain period after selling or within the following year if I report on my self assessment?

I decided to invest £100k of my pension pot when the shares were £1:10. So today I am of course very happy, no doubt the tax man will be.....when I decide to sell of course.

out of interest do you have to report the profit within a timescale or on your normal yearly tax return?
