I don't see GGP as a sinking ship....strange words to use. If Newcrest make a hostile move on their JV partner...a partner that has saved their backside regarding Telfer and a partner that Newcrest has funded with a $50m loan then I will be v.surprised...Newcrest already control GGP other than scallywag and even with SWAG they have first right of refusal.....I think SB will more concerned about their weakness for a takeover given Newcrest dropping over 2b mcap over the last 6 months or so. Hydro...can you explain why Newcrest feel the need to take a large percentage holding in GGP either above the ,one or in a dark pool when they clearly already have Havieron already tied up and the Juri JV signed...I just don't understand!

Sorry, you are incorrect - there is a large seller (maybe several) which is suppressing the share price....this will of course eventually clear and we will see demand once again outstrip supply causing the S/P to rise...unfortunately no doubt we will see these spikes being sold into....but with 65,000m of drilling in the next 6 months we can expect to see a much healthier picture. It's clear to me that some of sellers and some of the buyers are the same people....and some were ramping whilst selling and now buying back....these investment boards and private telegram groups are full of undesirables - they will grab your money any which way they can...just beware is my advice. I will not be listening to the GGPHelp podcast on results night anymore - make of that what you will. ATB

When Stephen Beetham (AKA Betroot) sold his 4% holding in GGP back in August last year the S/P fell from 15.2p to 12.2p (approx 20% fall) - the following month with VanEck including GGP in their GDXJ fund the S/P bounced back and beyond reaching 27p - only then to fall back to 20p before it gradually climbed back up and to the mid 30p range.

Once the seller is cleared we can expect to see GGP get back on track. Patience and diamond hands called for! GLA

The market valuation is “rot” - your words which no one can disagree with but the good news it’s the complete opposite for the company fundamentals which in time will have to prevail- we all know those that influence the stock prices flourish on peaks and troughs - I don’t like it but it’s just the way it is unfortunately!

The whole markets are down pretty much - lots of folks moving to cash they say - who knows but either way the miners will benefit - the fall out from the global lock downs has to hit the global economy at some point - nobody knows exactly when but experience tell us that when it does reset it happens super fast - time to stock up on tins of baked beans ;0) GLA
