Anything worthy of an RNS (equivalent) from CEZ will be really important - like when they bought it - the next one will be probably the DFS and FID with permits etc etc
They are a blue chip that don’t report via stock market anything that is not significant - I doubt unfortunately that many CEZ shareholders (pension recipients) are even aware about lithium!
#keepquietKC
We all know where we are - CEZ followed Volkswagen and others - won’t/can’t be competitive building gigafactories and producing batteries in the EU compared to the US/North Canada……it’s up to the EU to deliver a green deal that competes with the US IRA in relation to our critical raw materials - it will have to happen but how fast is an unknown.
That’s why CEZ pulled out of the grant funding at this stage and want to focus on lithium mining at Cinovec because they know it’s a strategic project that has to progress to a mine if all other plans succeed.
All or nothing at this stage and we don’t need an RNS from KC to confirm what’s in the public space - he can no longer run his mouth of providing false timelines - it’s all being pushed by CEZ !
Given the history , I prefer it this way!
GLA
So back to basics for LBE PLC - to execute its original strategy of M&A to aggressively build a full cycle E&P business with the emphasis on the “P” Production!
I expect some dilution moving forward but on an accretive basis - some new equity but offset with more debt to fund our way forward and get this junior to a mid tier player and into profit.
This is not a traders stock in my opinion (as happened this last week - liquidity facilitated by Fidelity and our new TR1 buyer Bruce!)
So day to day share price is irrelevant but should it fall - I now have the confidence to buy more and average down!
Good luck all.
Japex get a fast entry into the attractive tax efficient Norway O&G market becoming one of only 30 licensed operators in these waters.
After many years, Japex along with Neptune Energy (operator) and BP will soon start to enjoy production of 50,000 boe (gross) per day at the seagull project in the UK central North Sea. (15% share to Japex)
They understand the region and especially the Norwegian tax incentives compared to the UK and the rest of the world - and especially now that Russia is out of the equation!
I expect the next three years and beyond will be both interesting and highly rewarding.
Wouldn't Newcrest management be singing their hearts out informin their shareholders as to the significant worth of Telfer/Paterson Elephant country/Havieron to their shareholders in order to get the offer price up.....they haven't .....anyone know why!?!
If the Paterson is elephant country for gold and copper deposits why would Newcrest/Newmont even consider divesting Telfer, isn't it the only processing facility with town/accommadation and airport/transport system and especially when the already discovered "Monster" Havieron gold/copper deposit on its door step!
Not even sure why folks here consider it a possibility and worthwhile hours and hours of debate!?!
Makes sense now why KC was instructed by CEZ to engage/appoint Luthardt Investments given the cross border mining approach!
Shame we have had no update on the 31st December 2022 1st tranche options expiry date.

Definitely @Green - I think like CEZ are holding back on their gigafactory....its all leverage/Negotiation/blackmail - hopefully the EU will respond positively now that all gigafactories in Europe are being held back!
Time to act or the CRM act/Green deal is worthless!
Unfortunately Volkswagen have said they will not be making a decision on their CEE gigafactory for another 2 years (2025).
Citing a poor economic environment compared to the US and it's IRA subsidies....They have said Europe will just have to wait until it becomes competitive!
I sent an email to HH asking if he had the full support of OG II's ....he hasn't replied yet - nor did he answer the same question in the investor presentation (maybe because he knew Fidelity were on the way out). If I get a reply, I will share here!
