I must admit I was very surprised the broker valuation had not changed after the JORC. There is no logical explanation as an element of risk had been removed. The conspiracy theorist in me would suggest that an influential stakeholder did not want a rise in the share price atm. It's happened before!

If your friend knows that there is going to be a takeover announced between now and the 28th, and has told you as such, and if he/she act upon it you will be breaking the law - I am sure you know that. Insiders don't like being called criminals btw. I used to work in the city and observed them and it for myself. Insiders just see themselves as having competitive advantage through networking.

With this share we are always waiting for the game changing news. We had it two days ago. The JORC promised a sky rocket re-rate and a raft of new investors. True we need long tern holders and their buying pressure. It seems to me that news anticipation and news drops do the opposite - short termers selling on news and MMs manipulating the share price afterwards. LR needs to do some serious PR and keep us informed of it.

I therefore very much appreciate the valuable information and insight provided by posters such as yourself, Oiltap, Lloydboy et al. Please continue the great work if only for my benefit :-). The JORC confirmed everything - the potential value of Toral to either a buyer or as a mine is huge and I'm not selling my shares to any spiv money sucking leeches IMHO

If, in the very remote chance anything comes of this, I assume PEEL will get a finger wagged at them and maybe a fine and the PIs like us will get a nice thank you email for raising it. Back to my previous post, what is the point of MMs? By taking a chunk of investors money they hinder investment in business - which is the main aim of the stock exchange! IMO
