Yea I remember that presentation, SP was going up and a certain point then started dropping, had both on side by side. I think the less than £500 unit is production cost, time distributors fees etc added be a bit more. As I say, if can get the US contract completed with add on with covid POC test would be a good deal! Or give the poc devices away free with a contract that says you must purchase 5000 tests within 6 months with £1 extra on each test would be good business. Then push the other tests GDR can utilise using that device. Hopefully RNS tomorrow!

ST, £500 per poc unit, the same unit that is used for Hep C, I might be wrong but I remember looking at a Rwanda list of companies and cost of their products. From memory which might be wrong my first thought was between £2000 to £2500 at point of sale. Do you remember when or where you seen the 35,000 units built per year at the selling price of £500, even typing this £500 does not seem right. I have not seen the build of 35k a year so can’t comment but would like to read that context.,I would like to add, I am not changing my attitude towards GDR or have sold my shares. Yes, for me give the POC unit away for free and up the price of a test by a £1 or £2. The US army contract requires a fair few of these, could the ones that presumably been made for that contract be diverted to help with the pandemic or could the USA army takes these with a large order for the bead, to POC test military personnel, double bubble? Either to make headlines in UK or across the pond would be good.

My concern is how many GDR poc laptop size machines do we have in stock or can be manufactured per month. Are we making these?

So GDR is testing a poc kit at the moment with around 15-20 min results , results for the testing of the poc due around late Dec. Gov is desperate for one of these, other companies have been trying other ways but have had little joy in all these months. Mmmm imagine that last RNS came tomorrow instead of 10 or so days ago. Would the news be taken differently? 8 weeks to Xmas.
