On PERE website, now including Thomas Horton. Project screening and due diligence Q3/17 Q4/17 Deal execution Q4/17 Q1/18 https://www.pembridgeresources.com/investors/presentations
Ok yes for the transfer to the standard list but I would have thought DL would have noted something like "we would like to thank SD for your time and effort.....etc. etc. and also to wish him well with his future endeavours etc etc" SOP a similar cash shell on my watch list with directors not being paid until a deal is done has also had a very recent director change. The chairman there noted "We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mike for his considerable contribution to the Company since its listing last year" Perhaps the leaving of Spencer was not so amicable. Guess we shall never know.
Good spot! surely that should have been mentioned within the RNS?
No messing about, Thomas Horton already on the PERE website. https://www.pembridgeresources.com/about-us/management-team
No concerns for me at the moment. With the SP trading between quite a narrow band at 1.475 resistance and 1.275 support the market is clearly looking waiting for news. Anything close to 1.3 I will be topping up further to reduce my average. Things can suddenly change and like someone else said on here I am personally looking for multiples of todays SP. I once held another stock for about a year at 40-50% paper loss. News dropped and the share price re-rated over about a 2 week period and I topped sliced most of my holding at over 200% profit. Remain patient, low mcap, relatively low number of shares in issue and BOD not taking a bean until first deal is done.
More than made up though with the two next buys!! I see PERE are still tweeting the copper theme??? or are we going to be misled https://twitter.com/PembridgeRes?lang=en
LTH here @ 14p now lookng to getting my money back much sooner than I anticipated. GL all
As mccrummett has so eloquently described the likes of kenner are so easy to suss out. Only my 5th post here and I have been invested since September 2016. Averaged down to 8.4 with a few top ups, sold about a third of my holding @ 13.5 to derisk (always a strategy I now follow from experience) Following the news on the Botswana Pension fund buying in, decided to top up recently on the last trading day to average up to 8.9 Overall a very good BB and one I read from time to time.
Recent Bloomberg article https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-12-26/commodities-are-screaming-to-be-bought-on-valuation-to-stocks "In 2008 stocks were screaming to be bought on this valuation metric, and that was proven correct," Hackett said in a note to clients late Monday. "We now have the exact opposite condition where commodities are screaming to be bought at the expense of stocks." Let's hope PERE do a deal soon, copper investments have been muted here and prices have now risen to a 4 year high. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2017/12/28/market-report-copper-hits-four-year-high-miners-lift-ftse-100/
About 30% of Planning Decisions are over turned by appeal so there is a reasonable chance, but remember North Lincolnshire Council's own planning officers have recommended approval. Here is a more recent interview with Steve Staley which I don't think has been posted before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxYBBiEs47Q
That's my 66,503 buy this morning, taking my average down to a slightly more respectable 2.4p Feeling optimistic for a good 2018 here....... or perhaps I have already had one to many! Cheers
Cheers Supermonkey, did not know about the tie up / link with Malcolm Palle, Interesting. Yes lots of talk out there about blockchain investments. One such company I have on my watch list is LION (PJ investor there to) but has it been pumped and dumped. Have a good one
I agree the divi needs to catch up with its peers. I thought the SP was beginning to look rather toppy. Not so according to Broker Liberum who has raised the target price to 640p "The brokerage said it expects full-year results to confirm sustained strong occupier demand supporting like-for-like rental growth and development completions at an attractive 8% yield on cost" https://www.digitallook.com/news/broker-recommendations/segro-boosted-by-liberum-upgrade-to-buy--3031481.html
And still rising with 12 month high achieved yesterday. I will probably will stick with SEGRO for the time being. They have a lot going on at the moment!! Here is a couple of examples.... http://www.shdlogistics.com/news/segro-to-develop-230000sq-ft-facility-in-hayes http://www.shdlogistics.com/news/segro-lettings-hat-trick-fills-remaining-space-in-three-estates-across-lond
As a holder since Feb this year @ 1.4 I am happy to have him on board. Dig a little deeper and you will see PJ was previously a director and chairman at ECR having resigned in June 2015. Still has connections??? Don't think the SP will jump that soon though, still need real news which has been slow so far.
That explains the recent large buys going through. Paul Johnson a prolific investor has a number of followers so could bode well for the SP. Paul is currently non-exec director at Thor Mining and Metal NRG www.thormining.com/aboutus#board www.metalnrg.com/about-us/directors
I do but I am forever the optimist ! SP numbers being mentioned are just a load of nonsense. No one can predict a SP and more the fool who ever believes in them. Despite the negativity portrayed, there has been some big buys going through recently.
