Many people don't realise that vaccines alone won't get us out of this pandemic. You can still carry the virus whilst double jabbed, so it can still mutate into something worse. This is why pcr testing will still be needed to track the voc.

TP, absolutely correct. Good news indeed. I can't see pcr testing not being used as it's the best or only way to test for variants atm. They need to keep on top of it at all costs. If it's allowed to mutate freely it will find a way of getting around all vaccines and we will be back to square one.

I think these vaccine passports will be a disaster. Letting people test themselves at home and allowing them to update their passport apps. How many are just going to be truthful if they test positive. They can get a friend to do a sample who they know is virus free. Will there be a way of checking I wonder?
