Yep in Germany you are prevented from holding any directorship in a company when you have crashed a previous company with a string of debts. Of course in good old fair and square Britain you have the likes of AIM in which no rules apply and consequently these so called captains of industry will reappear in another guise to fleece people once again - It's called Capitalism.....
I don't think it is worth taking any notice of broker ratings. Look at LOND, not so long ago brokers were recommending this stock as a buy when the stock was over 100p. AIM is crooked along with the brokers - End of...
Any particular reason for the big drop this morning?
I wouldn't take too much notice of ASDA being involved as they are probably just beefing up their green credentials to look good to their customers. The 50 dual fuel tractor units are a drop in the ocean of their 3000+ HGV fleet. A few years ago when I worked for the company on the transport side dual road/rail trailers that could be lifted off rail bogies on to road units were all the rage, as it would take long distance truck journeys made by the company between depots off the roads. Of course we all knew it was a ploy by ASDA for publicity and their tax liabilities also benefit with the scheme qualifying for tax relief etc. I'm not trying to deramp this company as being a Lancashire lad myself where this company is based I wish them every success - Just pointing out why large companies like ASDA are involved with innovative companies as they have an eye on their 'Green' customers rather than it being an endorsement of the actual technology.
Some movement upward at last, seems to be no reason as to why though....
I'm just surprised that the price has suddenly dropped when the company is doing so well. I bought in just over a year ago and this has been excellent all round. Will have to transfer some cash over to top up on Monday. Thanks.
Thanks langyy, Apparently Joanna Hart the author of the Midas article says the shares could have been picked up in June 2010 for 99.5, although I managed to obtain mine in July last year at 98.8. Be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.....
Not sure what is going on with this one today. Loads of buys at 156-7 earlier this morning and yet the price seems to have dropped on deals later in the morning.
