The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
They won't be long shifting them if profit is being made. Impacts of failure on the next well is my worry.
Amazed how quick the President website was updated !
Large stakeholders make up over 65% of the company, so I don't think it would make a massive difference if someone sells 5%. Remember we also have the new investor buying on a quarterly basis.
No Steven, pretty sure they are not, was concerned so I doubled checked. They appear to have the same holding as last December....in fact a little more. See my PPC post from Friday.
Hopefully Norges or Jarvis . If so they have very few left now.
Will try one more time and see if anyone can kindly explain this to me. From 1.1 (pasted below). Does this mean that we need 90% of shareholders to agree for it to pass? Or is it 50%. If 90% then surely the risk is high, or am I missing something !
1.1 Acceptance condition
Valid acceptances of the Offer being received (and not, where permitted, withdrawn) by not later than 1.00 p.m. (London time) on the First Closing Date (or such later time(s) and/or date(s) as Integumen may, subject to the rules of the Code or with the consent of the Panel, decide) in respect of Modern Water Shares which, together with all other Modern Water Shares acquired by Integumen (whether pursuant to the Offer or otherwise), will result in Integumen, and any other person acting in concert with Integumen, holding in aggregate not less than 90 per cent. (or such lower percentage as Integumen may decide) in nominal value of the Modern Water Shares to which the Offer relates and of the voting rights attached to those shares, provided that this Condition will not be satisfied unless Integumen and/or any of its associates shall have acquired or agreed to acquire (whether pursuant to the Offer or otherwise) Modern Water Shares carrying in aggregate more than 50 per cent. of the voting rights then normally exercisable at general meetings of Modern Water, including for this purpose (except to the extent otherwise agreed by the Panel), any voting rights attaching to any Modern Water Shares which are unconditionally allotted or issued before the Offer becomes or is declared unconditional as to acceptances (whether pursuant to the exercise of outstanding conversion or subscription rights or otherwise). For the purposes of this Condition 1.1:
How many votes are needed for the merge with DVRG to go ahead. There are 500 million shares in issue. Is 51% enough. What does the 90% mean
End Of August announcement aligns with Friday's announcement.

Its true @razoba44, I researched a bit more :-). They had 178,931,301 at the end of 2019 and they still have the same now (actually a few more at 179 mill). The link from the ft gives the "wrong" impression that they sold, and yes the others are just relatively small players anyway and will have little or no impact impact. We also have a new investor CGC still adding each quarter.
In summary "ALL GOOD" !
Thanks for the link, movers tab is interesting, clearly not just Norges! Think this will be held back for a while then.
@Lumphammer, where is this info re Norges? The only seller I can see in the notifications over the year is JP M.
Good posts, we took a few hits. Would we take another though if the next well is negative. Hopefully they have something else in the bag to mitigate this!
Yes, I haven't heard anything from HL yet either. Presume they will message share owners.
I have no idea. Having CGC and Traf involved "should" be really positive for the company, but the shareprice is still low. I guess its just a matter of having patience and buying on the dips, just trying to ensure I haven't missed anything here.
Anyone find this arrangement done in Oct'19 strange. Could this keep the shareprice subdued until they are complete with their investment, the lower the shareprice the more shares they get each quarter. Their agreed investment will conclude in July 2021.
"CGC will thereafter invest the remaining US$1.325 million in seven quarterly instalments in consideration for the issue of new Ordinary Shares at the prevailing MMP on the date prior to the relevant quarter date, with the first such quarterly payment being due on 25 January 2020."
I wouldn't worry about it, if the idea works those shares will be snapped up rapidly.
For those that know the history of this share .. I think even sunup will be happy with their investment. Fingers crossed!
DeepVerge still the best idea I've heard so far. Thousands of jobs could be saved just in the UK alone! We are just beginning to see the real impacts to peoples jobs and livelihoods now .... really hope this works!
So what is it producing now or since March, does anyone really know?
Boring RNS containing very little to excite existing or new investors. What was the point?
