A vaccine for COVID-19 is sometime off and I’m not going to expect it in the next 12months, this will become part of our lives for some time to come. As long as we all adhere to social distance rules and look after the vulnerable things will turn around.

I don’t think conspiracy theories help anyone at this moment, although I suspect some have cabin fever already: However I agree that Chinese government, not the people, have not exactly help by with holding information that could have been used to prevent the spread.
