If we do not place extra stringent security checks, prior to individuals, families, businesses even getting to the border, then no doubt in the near future we will ALL know someone who had been stabbed, kidnapped, enslaved or murdered and yes slavery in the UK is alive and well because of our pathetic borders. The myth is that labour caused this is not altogether true and yes the rules were lax but this has been going for years how else do guns , drugs and other contraband get in the UK…!? The 80’s jeez I dread to think how much cocaine had been snorted by yuppies in the square mile alone..ffs.
As a nation we need to get to grips with crime, I think we all know and agree that our resources are poor. The QiiE funeral, 45 other police forces had to be drafted in to assist the Met, joke. I would happily pay more tax for NHS and police, police back on the beat, on our public transport etc..not community bobbies ffs, some of these teenagers are seasoned serial killers ffs hard nose police is what is required.
Watched a TV police program that showed us how they chased down individuals. One guy was being chased down in the UK for a motoring offence that happened in Poland ffs.
Interpol, metropolitan police officers, detectives driving around London visiting various garages, where he had worked...! they got him in the end working around the corner from one the sites they visited, thanks to another mechanic.!
They arrested him and he was back out in minutes…if robust border checks been in place, they may have stopped him at the border, all of them resources that costs the tax payer many millions a year wasted on stuff like that. I really am not exaggerating it is quite upsetting knowing what we UK citizens are walking into…..
