Because he'd get the boot if he didn't agree to it?
That way you only have to be right about DMS being a potentially big market, rather than trying to pick one fish. Just to be clear, am still heavily oversubscribed in SEE. Good luck all.
Must be something coming along soon surely, hopefully London bus style
He didn’t. Said “consider”.
Same old sh*t, different year. All these banks know how to do is make so called derivative products out of loan books and punt them off to some unsuspecting other load of clowns. It'll just all get lumped on to government debt and off the circus goes again. TINA innit. Wake me up in 2035 when it happens again.
Interesting topic. Making a strong statement whatever his actions. Hope he strikes them in and then holds.
Nothing like a bit of gallows humour, it’s what we do best.
I can’t get any money out for 9 years anyway, so couldn’t really give a toss.
Ouch.
Hang tough everyone
“For those SM (former) investors who sold at 6p to buy SEYE at 50sek because they announced a win, instead of getting upset about my advice you should have listened, lesson learnt in your pocket”
Yeah.
Thanks mate, heart of gold you have, just trying to save us all from ourselves.
Interesting to hear that PMG didn’t seem to want to be there. I only watched the first bit of the Italian thing before it was taken down but thought he seemed uncharacteristically nervous on that too.
You buy any DMS shares yet FishBoy? What are you waiting for, just about to take off !!
Nice, 10% bounce…..
Urrrrm, sell in tranches?
When Lewbo gets the boat is it Cold or Warm water fishing taking place?
Seems to be something in the DMS waters today, both going along strongly. Nice lunch in the offing today….
Yeah, fair point, I’d need to check back through my account and do some sums to fully figure it out, but from some *** packet maths I’ve missed a few K of gain from SEE going 6-> 7. Call it around 6k. So yes, whole trade is negative but I’m quite pleased with the setup of it now for the next couple of years.
I think that’s more like their bear/base/bull price targets, dunno what the timeframe is though.
The subscription price was the thing that there was talk of dragging it down to the 30s. Got to be honest, I don’t really understand it all…. currently 6k down on the shares, but was paid 8k in cash as part of the rights issue.
I’m not sure I fully get the hostility towards SmartEye around here. Sure, the guy Martin looks out of his depth and stressed at times. They’ve no doubt made mistakes, as have SEE. Only thing that looks certain to me is that Driver Monitoring is here to stay, and usually in tech there’s more than one way to skin a cat. Investing into a rapidly expanding market looks pretty good to me, so I’ll hold them both until this plays out. If one of them goes to zero, so be it.
Was supposed to be cratering down to 30 though, don’t forget. Held up fairly well so far. Probably crash to 20 now I’ve said that
Come and join me on the 75% SEE, 25% Seye train ISB. That way, you'll be happy whoever announces a DMS contract win.....
Not sure it makes too much sense to base your investment decisions on what’s happened, or is happening, with individuals. Once the tech is out there, you either believe it’s going to be successful and you get onboard for the ride, or you don’t and you miss it. A change of leader doesn’t necessarily determine the ultimate success of a product. You just need to look at Jobs->Cook and Gates->Nadella to know that. Even Bezos has handed over the juggernaut.
Disgruntled ex-employee is my guess
