Sales not profit …. Clothing and home delivers more profit less sales

M&S is not just food , the profitable arm of their business is clothing and home which is doing exceptionally well , as is their online business. They have just acquired gist which will improve supply and reduce costs , yes like every business they have challenges but they are setting themselves up to be fit for the future.

Does anyone know what this is about on the 12th Oct , says strategy update , don’t seem to have seen one before .

Yet the share price keeps falling. Something not quite right when a share loses nearly 40% of its value in a couple of weeks.

I think I will be a contender if it continues dropping
