BDC, I am very much NOT an expert on these matters.
However, much as I agree with the plans, as I it will come to fruition sooner rather than later, £16 million is literally a drop in the ocean to get to first gas.
For instance, how much does a 'short' 40km pipeline cost?

When you look at a 18p being 25% oversubscribed, I'd have piled in to. Over the last few weeks months when we were bubbling along in the low 20's.
Shart drop from 24ish to settle around 18.

I think just about all would love to wave a wand and be in a world powered by all electric.
However, all the Greta's, and super gluers around the world are not going to change the FACT that we are in a period of transition.

Move to Vans, god forbid, HGV'S. Tesco had a news article recently. They are using an electric HGV. 3 X the cost of a standard HGV, and a limit of 100 miles.
Commercial flight. We are years away from being to move around the world in a low carbon way.

Don't be a Luddite, move with Transition. Even at a fast pace it's 15 years away.
We still need O&G. Unpalatable, yes. But a reality.

Fracking should be re-explored. After all said and done, it is the NIMBY's who have been holding it back.
Watch sentiment change when the lights and heating start to be rationed. Along way off yet, but this 2 week excursion into Ukraine is taking on all the hallmarks of a long term campaign; that could spread.
That said, Igas is also well down the line on transitioning into a green energy supplier, with plenty of projects on the go.
Results tomorrow.
Looking at the price action, I am hoping that they might have something up their sleeve.
