Forecast changes: CPX’s current sales pipeline (total unweighted annual sales revenue of all known projects) is $71.6m. Of this, c. 80% is at the earliest stage (between enquiry received and samples shipped) and spans multiple sectors; c. 10% is at the customer qualification stage; and c. 10% at the design win to production stage. The average time between sales enquiry to production is c. 3.1 years but shorter for a competitor knockout (c. 1.8 years).

H2 revenue is expected to be materially higher than H1 with COVID restrictions in China diminishing, less delivery date deferrals and ex-Murata customers working through stock. FY23 revenue expected to be broadly in line with consensus.

The additional funding should be sufficient until CPX achieves EBITDA profitability in FY24.

MoU with "world leading Swiss technology company and solutions innovator, SCHURTER... to work closely together on technology development and co-branded supercapacitor products."

This "strategic technology partnership" looks like it could be transformational for CAP-XX - both with regards to development / enhancement of product portfolio; and to expansion of distribution and sales channels.

CAP-XX also now has an obvious candidate for a possible funding partner, further down the line in its quest to achieve a FCF+ position within 24 months.

Excellent news and I think the share price makes multiple new post-placing highs in the coming weeks.
