Sorry Duxi, I have been working away and only just looked in here today, unfortunately I am unable to attend the meeting due to work commitments. Hope you have a good productive meeting and look forward to hearing what our options are. Good on you for going.....Danny
Sorry Duxi, Still not getting your messages, maybe I am doing something wrong but have had messages from other users and admin as well so a bit of a mystery there!. Not to worry I see you have asked the committee to send me your e-mail address, they have mine and I do not mind them sending you that on if they will so hopefully I can contact you that way. Cheers Mate.
Dead right, will do Cheers Andy.
Hi Duxi, Just logged on to the SAG site and cannot see any messages from you there mate.
Hi Andy I would like to attend have e-mailed Admin via the SAG site. Will that get to you?
Cheers Duxi, will be in touch.
Hi Duxi, Wherever the meeting is the offer of the lift is still on mate, I am in Liverpool but could meet you somewhere that suits us both. I will contact you via the SAG site when the meeting is announced. By the way I have tried to send you a message via the SAG site but cannot find you in the members section under your username (Duxi). You will see me under my username, send me a message and I will get back to you to organise things further.
Top & lcf Either way it all adds up to the same thing and we were going to have the company taken off us for a song, certainly not in our best interests either way. I prefer to think that they did not see that they may lose until the last minute and the hairdresser shares were a last gasp attempt to force through the vote. It fits with the scenario as well as your theory and certainly sits better with me. Who really knows?
To be fair Mepobre probably did type miningmx but the spell check feature changed it !!
Excellent news Andy, look forward to reading it. Well done.
Andy, I agree wholeheartedly 20-20 hindsight is a wonderful thing to have. If we all had the benefit of it we would not be here in the first place would we?. Whatever happened here we were in between a rock and a hard place. We would have all but lost our investments anyway. I am glad that we at least put a big spanner in the works with our no vote, and if that made RK very angry then so be it. It is not as if he is holding any shares and sitting on a loss is it?
R.K bemoans the fact that he inherited the $10 million Vitol debt. What was the value of our assets when you took up your post R.K, many multiples of that debt is the answer. I am sorry but you cannot hide behind statements like that they just do not wash.
The original agreement with Vitol was made around March 2012 it seems when we received a cash injection at that time for funding purposes. Rowan states that this was an inherited debt, however since his tenure it has been re-negotiated at least once to gain a bit of extra time in paying it back. Who knows when the $1 dollar buyback clause was inserted, It is more likely to have been when we were over the barrel more recently than in 2012 when things were a lot more positive. This is just one of the questions that need to be answered in this debacle that unfortunately, Rowan took place during your tenure. I note in his interview that he is "very angry", I say well Rowan welcome to the club, not very nice is it?.
Hi Duxi, I could not find you under the username Duxi on the members section of the Shareholders website. I wanted to e-mail you as I have had another member on interested in travelling down with us if it comes to a meeting in London. Give me an e-mail via the shareholder website and we can arrange things should we need to.
Hi Katie Found the problem, was copy and pasting straight out of your posted address and there is an extra full stop at the end of the e-mail address (outlook.com. ) that was enough to render it invalid. It may be worth revisiting your address and removing the extra full stop at the end for anyone else who copies and pastes it ;) Anyhoe sent it through now so you should have it.
Hi Katie Cannot send an e-mail via that address, can you double check it please. Thanks
No problems duxi, will contact you via the Shareholders site if and when we need to travel down :) .
Hi guys, I am sure there are lots of peeps on here who would like to have a shout and throw in their tuppence worth however what we need is a coordinated and coherent approach and I am happy that that is what we have in yourselves. I trust that you will let us know as and when we need to act to remove the current BOD. What I am able to offer is that if we need to come to London or wherever to attend a meeting in order to get bums on seats then I will be driving down from the Merseyside area. I would be only to happy to pick up another 3 people on the way down especially (without being patronising) some of the older posters on here who may find it difficult to travel to attend but would like to. I don't mind taking a short detour of the motorway but would be ideal to meet at a nearby service area if possible (M62 - M6 - M40 corridor en route). I will leave the offer on the table just make a note of it and give me a shout if I am needed.
Hear hear, Nice one Andy, keep up the great work and inform us of what you can when you can. We all understand the need for you to keep your cards close to your chest at this stage, we all need to be patient, something we have had to have in bucket loads with BHR. Let us know if we need to attend any meetings etc to vote things our way. Safe hands mate, respect.....
Sorry the FCA I meant!
