The biggest exchanges are fairly safe but I would always recommend moving your cryptos to an off-exchange wallet, for example for Stellar I use Lobstr... but safest way is on a nano stick, put them on their and lock them away in a safe/vault ha ha...

The blockchain hasn�t been hacked, it�s the exchange... much different... if people don�t have security and keep their private keys, like leaving your front door open and saying come and take everything...
